Official description – Supernatural 9.06 Heaven Can’t Wait”
Here’s the official description for the episode which will air on Tuesday November 12.
“Heaven Can’t Wait”
CASTIEL GETS A JOB — Castiel (Misha Collins) gets a job at a Gas-N-Sip and actually starts to enjoy life as a human. A headline in the local newspaper about some disappearances in the area catches his eye, so he calls Dean (Jensen Ackles) to help him investigate the case. Dean knows he needs to keep Sam/Ezekiel (Jared Padaleck) away from Castiel, so he tells Sam that he and Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) need to stay and work with Crowley to decipher the tablet. Crowley agrees to help Sam and Kevin but in return he wants one phone call to hell. Rob Spera directed the episode written by Robert Berens (907).
And one phone call to hell? AWESOME. Who’s Crowley calling? What if he gets their answer machine…. “Sorry, we’re all out possessing people at the moment, please leave a message after the blood curdling scream and we’ll return your call in an eternity.”

(From Alice: The episode was shot as the 7th episode but will air as the 6th. The original 9.05 was pushed in airing until 9.07)
I love your message..LOL so awesome! I don’t think it’s just keeping Zeke from Cas(gotta love Dean for his nicknames :D) I think it’s that Zeke is afraid of Bart(my nickname for him..just until Dean’s meets him and gives him a name..LOL). After Zeke’s reaction at the end of this week’s episode and his insistence that Cas leave the bunker I’m wondering if he’s running from Bart until he can build up his strength to face him. What better place to do it than in Sam. He can get stronger and make Sam stronger at the same time plus get Dean on his side because he helped his brother. I can see a battle of some sort coming between Zeke and Bart with hopefully Sam, Dean, and Cas are on Zeke’s side.
janiebee: I had this same thought. Ezekiel wishes to remain hidden from Bart (or Barry). I’m still not sure why he needs to remain hidden from Cas. Or if that’s just a side-efect of Cas being hunted by Bart.
I really ,really want to believe in Zeke. I’ve tried to tell myself that maybe his situation is pretty dire and he may be in some form of desperation. It looks like he’s holding all the cards because of Dean’s desperation but that may not be the case at all.
Is it ” Heaven Can Wait” or “Heaven Can’t Wait”? I have seen the latter title on other sites.
Seems we’re all on the same page. I am keeping my hopes up that Zeke IS really one of the good guys. He was so sincere about it in Episode 2 with Dean. Zeke is the only angel on earth right now that believes in the original Angel Mission of protecting man and helping the Winchesters. He even resurrected Cas. Zeke probably also knows, as Cas, that Cas will be the key to reversing the spell cast by Metatron. So it makes sense that the 2 of them remain separated because of Bart I think what is missing here in the Episode plot description is the fact that in Episode 5, Sam has an accident with a neck injury which should have killed him if not for Zeke’s possession. Episode 5 description goes on further to say “a conversation follows”. But with Sam/Dean or Dean/Zeke? remains a mystery. Looking forward to a great fight between Sam and Bart. I think Zeke will play a crucial role in the angel trials — The honorable warrior angel who still has his faith. I’m keeping all my fingers crossed — this is Supernatural afterall.
Could I get your permission to use your message on my own answering machine? I would just love to hear if anyone would dare leave anything. 😆
I just thought about this today, that Zeke and Bart might be connected, its making a bit more sense now, why Zeke wants Cas out of the way. I just hope Dean did give him money and stuff. Looking forward to tomorrow night!!
