Season Two
While waiting for season seven to begin (why is it not here yet???), let’s fondly look back at the genius that is season two.
On April 26, 2021, Jim Beaver shared the sad news that the SPNFamily had lost Charles Beeson, a talented director and long time friend to many of Supernatural‘s producers, cast and crew. Charles directed 14 episodes of Supernatural, beginning with season 2’s “Playthings” and spanning all the way to season 15’s “The Rupture” and “The…
*This is a re-post from our vast WFB archives.* Castiel had one busy summer vacation! Find out all about it, before he goes back to taking over his duties as the new God. At least he’s gotten some decent R & R. {loadposition slideshow14} Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Leave it up to Julie to come up with a way to pay homage to Supernatural via The Sound of Music! Here’s her quirky pictorial set to “My Favorite Things.” Enjoy! Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Here’s an original slideshow, summarizing Supernatural season one by episode. This started out as a song and mutated another way. Enjoy! Share on Facebook Tweet Follow us Save
Previously on Supernatural: Sam’s dead! As in not breathing, stiff as a board, Smurf blue dead. Dean wasn’t too happy about that. Kripke goes for ripping our hearts out from the word go. The entire season’s summed up by the traditional “Carry On Wayward Son”, and Sam’s death is more gripping to music. It’s strange…
I was able to join a recent rewatch of season two’s “Heart,” and was reminded again what an incredibly well written episode this was. Penned by the talented and much missed Sera Gamble and directed by a man who added so much to this series, Kim Manners, “Heart” works on every level, thematically within the…
Wonderful! Season 2 does have a lot of iconic moments in it, and you captured them all wonderfully.
Gotta love a shout out to the Trickster!
Season two rocked!!!!!!! 😀
Intro to a whole bunch people. Most of whom are no longer with us. Some we miss (RIP Ellen, Jo, Andy). Some we cheered when they died (Gordon, Ava, Jake) Intro to the Croatoan sickness, the Trickster, djinns and the list goes on and on.
But Julie, we now know that John made the ‘second’ deal. 🙂
Season two, good times. 😆 😆
Love love the second season. Hard to believe all those we loved are now dead.
Loved sweet Andy. Adored the Trickster, Jo and Ellen. (well, I liked Jo!) Don’t forget poor Madison.
Loved to see Gordon, Ava and Jake bite the dust.
My favourite seasons are 1, 2 & 3.
Thanks Julie.
Thanks Julie for another wonderful slide show. Ah, Season 2 which introduced us to the irrepressible trickster as well as the nefarious Gordon. From watching the hilarity of Dean as a PA to the incredible heartbreak of Sam killing Madison. What a season. 🙂 the actors really stepped up their game and we got to see a lot of Bobby Singer, who was a terrific addition to the show. They certainly packed a lot into this season.
As this will be my final article on the site I would just like to express, to everyone who posted such nice comments here, my heartfelt thanks
