Here we go, the final set of interviews from our Comic Con press room collective!
We managed to get two interviews from Eugenie Ross-Leming, and one from her writing and producing partner, Brad Buckner. It was interesting talking about the same teasers with the different producers. They all offered something different. Brad and Eugenie were no different. Here they talked about the writing process, possible crossovers, and how they approach writing for new characters. Considering their senior roles and being the ones to lead the pack to deliver the vision set by Andrew Dabb, their approach to writing definitely explains why we’ve seen what we have seen in the last few seasons. There’s not a lot here different on what’s coming for season 14, but there’s definitely some reveals on why we’ve gotten what we have in recent years.

dditional coverage of “Supernatural” at Comic Con:
Alice Jester is the founder, editor-in-chief, head writer, programmer, web designer, site administrator, marketer, and moderator for The Winchester Family Business. She is a 30 year IT applications and database expert with a penchant for creative and freelance writing in her spare (ha!!) time. That’s on top of being a wife, mother of two active kids, and four loving (aka needy) pets.
We have a scene from Supernatural season 14 episode 12. Dean is making Sam promise to go along with burial at sea. He also says why he hasn’t told Jack and Cas yet. Do you think Sam will honor Dean’s wishes? How will Cas and Jack react to Dean’s plan? Give us your…
Last year, I had the lucky experience of attending San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC), where professionals from television, film and comics come together to discuss their craft. SDCC 2023 happened amidst the SAG and WGA strikes, so I first met this TV writer after a panel that didn’t directly discuss their shows. That said, we…
Misha was our last interview of the day in the Supernatural press room at Comic Con (you might notice all the people packing up behind him). He was actually our table’s “Sophie’s Choice” between him and Jeremy Carver. Naturally, as is usually true with Misha, some answers are serious, and some aren’t. My questions…
What can you say about Jeremy Carver when he talks about what’s coming for the show. He says things that aren’t inaccurate, but they might not mean what is said word for word either. All depends on the meaning of the word! Anyway, this interview is short, but he does give a nice little preview…
After reading the book Fangasm: Supernatural Fangirls, I had the great privilege of talking with Dr. Lynn Zubernis, one of its authors and a fangirl herself. In Part 1 of the interview, Lynn explained why people join fandoms, why they are ashamed of their fannish pursuits and the tremendous benefits of being in a fandom. …
Once again, I had the honor of doing a joint interview with Giuseppie over at Supernatural Legend, a popular “Supernatural” fan site in Italy. We’ve done a few in the past, and this time we had to honor of sending questions to Gil McKinney, who plays grandfather Henry Winchester in the episode “As Time Goes…
