Caption This! #373
Wow, is it that time of week already? Time flies when you have so many great captions to read…
For last week’s contest, choosing a winner was again rather difficult. While I really loved the references to Lost, Stranger Things, and I believe the film Them, the ultimate winner was an entry that’s timing was perfect given the Grammy awards happening last night, not to mention all the recent football madness. So congrats to AlyCat22!
If any one can relate to an overzealous, borderline bat s*** crazy fandom, it’s the #SPNFamily!
AlyCat22 gets a double prize actually. My top two choices were both hers, but that’s because the other one finally gives me a potential “Caption This Contest” title card. I’ve been bouncing around creating one for some time, and this caption was just perfect for that! I’ll ask you all though. Do you think this would make a good official contest title card?
I also said that I would share my special admin caption, aka what raced through my mind when I picked this caption. Not quite as creative as the “We’re too sexy…” one from a few weeks ago, but, it might spark a light chuckle out there.
Okay, now onto this week’s contest. I’ve been working on creating the season 12 photo gallery recently, and man there are so many great possibilities to choose from! I almost did a double contest because I couldn’t decide. Ultimately though, I chose this one from Episode 12.09, “First Blood.”
I’m just trying to figure out how they would need a physical map with a working cell phone! But hey, let’s suspend believability because I see plenty of Caption This! potential. The contest will run until Monday evening on 2/12. So, time to fire up all your creative minds. Time to Caption This!
Here are the past contest winning entries:
