Breaking News! – TNT Picks Up Supernatural For US Syndication
Some very, very exciting news! This just came out an hour ago. Supernatural has FINALLY been picked up for US second run syndication. The really exciting news is it will be running on TNT, which is owned by Time Warner, corporate parent of Warner Brothers which owns Supernatural. So not only are they keeping the show in the family, but this is the best possible cable network for Supernatural to land on. TNT is a strong network (stronger than The CW in my opinion) and its target audience is far more suited for the show. Attached is the press release from The Futon Critic.

I have been happily dancing around since the news broke. So exciting! And I agree, TNT is a great network for the Supernatural repeats to air on 😀
This is awesome! I will be watching, again…..like it’s new again! Aww…I can’t wait!
I’ve been grinning from ear-to-ear since I heard about this! This is great news for SN – another point in favour of an S6 renewal, right? 😀
😯 lIt’s great news!
I’m really happy for you US-folks, this is great news!
Hey, I almost would have been American, I mean it was that close… had my parents emigrated to the States, as they initially planned to do, I would have been born in either in New York or Texas… so I feel a lot of affection… call me crazy…
I guess, more people will get to know our favourite show, the ratings will hopefully go up and guarantee our cast and crew another year of work…? I guess I’m hoping for season 6 after all (come on, who am I fooling here?)…
Great, great news!
Best wishes from all across the Atlantic, Jas
While you all are rejoicing, somewhere, someone is crying because there will now be one less hour of Law and Order: Special Badge Patrol. I hope you’re happy. Sniff.
YEAH!!!!!!!!!! It’s about time! I’ve been offline this weekend, but so glad to find this out today. I wish it was on in prime time, but …I’ll be there for the 10 hr marathon. WOW!!!! Finally SPN gets a break! And Yes, TNT IS a much better network. Much bigger audoence and more chance for them to get into viewers of other age groups. So good for J&J and all the SPN writers. Okay….now we can all start to think about a real season 7……..
Randal just read your post…you are a riot! Don’t ever leave the site! 😆 😆
Alice…I was so excited about the news, I didn’t read the entire article. What time does the party start? Columbus is not that far for me! 😀
Awesome. 🙂
WOW! That’s awesome! 🙂
Thanks for the news Alice.
One word: YAY.
Wait–Angel reruns on TNT, Supernatural starts next month, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer re-enters syndication on MTV in January as well? My TV life is complete!
this is great news!!! Hooray. TNT is a strong syndication network and this will be awesome. Also, I like the idea of the marathon with some of their ‘lighter’ episodes as a way of showing people the various shades of the show…great.
aaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwh, Randal, running out of Kleenex already?? Consoling, Jas
Sablegreen, I won’t leave, but I might get booted after you all read the incoherent drivel I’m in the midst of putting together.
Jas, I, I just can’t talk about it. Sob.
Randal, I have some drivel of my own coming out…so we can see who drivels the most.
Stock up on those tissues!

Well, Randal, trust me, I’m a doc 8-), I know what I’m doing
(and now please let the music from Psycho kick in, Jaws will do just as well…)
Touch the screen, touch the screen… do you feel it? diazepam administerd via the web… soon you’ll be sleeping like a baby… even your cat won’t be able to wake you…
hehehehe, Jas
Yay! finally some SPN love from the suits – Christmas hugs and kisses all round (It’s snowing in London Hooray!) even for TPTB!
