Memorable Moments: Supernatural 12.10 “Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets”

Welcome back to the “Memorable Moments” visual review series for Supernatural season 12! This edition memorializes 12.10 “Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets”. Once again I put together a list of what I felt were the best and most memorable moments from the episode. Best Broment

Sam and Dean’s little talk once hearing the truth from Lily.

Dean: Are you buying any of this?

Sam: Yeah kind of.

Dean: Alright well, we’ve got to make sure…Ishim is a tool but you know what ,I’m gonna call Cas….. Yeah he’s not answering.

Sam: Just go, I’ll stay here.

Dean: And leave you here with her! Are you kidding me..she’s…

Lily: She is not a threat what so ever to humans and she can hear you.

Dean: Ok.   

Later…

Sam comes to Dean’s aid. “Hey”

Dean: I thought you were suppose to keep her out of this?

Sam: I changed my mind.

Dean: Good call.

Sam’s talk with Lily about why she took so long for revenge and the consequences of her decisions.

Dean getting the upper hand on Ishim by setting up the Angel Banishing Sigil. Sadly he was unable to use it as it could possibly kill Cas. However it did hold off Ishim and give time for Sam and Lily to show up.

Best Castiel Moment

Cas’s talk with Lily.

‘..I’m sorry, I was wrong. While it’s true I didn’t know we were killing an innocent, ignorance is no excuse. I truly can’t imagine the depths of your loss. This was your child, I can’t imagine the pain. So if you leave here and you find you can’t forgive me. I’ll be waiting.

The battle between Benjamin and Lily.

Most Moving Moment

The entire scene at the end – the brothers talk with Castiel.

Dean: What Ishim said. You’re not weak Cas, you know that right?

Sam: Well obviously you’ve changed, but it’s been for the better man.

Dean: And you’ve been with us every step of this long crazy thrill ride. And no matter how crazy it got, you never backed down.

Sam: And that takes real strength.

Cas: Thank you.   

Dean: Cas I don’t like how the whole Billie thing went down ‘kay. I know you thought you were doing the right thing and I’m not mad. I’m worried because things like ‘Cosmic Consequences’ have a habit of biting us in the ass.

Cas: I know they do, but I don’t regret what I did, even if it costs me my life.

Sam: Don’t say that man.

Dean: So what are you gonna do when you find Kelly and Lucifer Jr. It is an Nephilim right?

Cas: Oh no it’s more than that. A ordinary Nephilim is one of the most dangerous beings of all creation, but fathered by an Arch Angel, the devil himself, I can’t imagine the powers.

Sam: But Cas, at the end of the day it’s a mom and her kid. I mean do you think you’ll be able to…

Cas: There was a time I wouldn’t have hesitated, but now I don’t know.

Dean: So what are we gonna do?

Cas: Lets drink and hope we can find a better way.
