Supernatural’s fandom keeps coming up with great fan projects!

Gail Martin talked about the effect of these projects and directed us to #HoldOnToTheLight in Fandom Takes Care of its Own—How #HoldOnToTheLight Happened.
 
#HoldOnToTheLight is a blog campaign encompassing blog posts by fantasy and science fiction authors around the world in an effort to raise awareness around treatment for depression, suicide prevention, domestic violence intervention, PTSD initiatives, bullying prevention and other mental health-related issues. We believe fandom should be supportive, welcoming and inclusive, in the long tradition of fandom taking care of its own. We encourage readers and fans to seek the help they or their loved ones need without shame or embarrassment.
 
Some fans just use their special talents to honor our show.

 Fans can extend their love of this show to offshoots of Supernatural.  Artist Scout Villegas talks about getting inspiration for his his art from Louden Swain, as well as Supernatural, in an interview with Nerds and Beyond.
 
Then there are those who have 3D printers.  They share their creations with Thinginverse. What is Thinginverse?
 
MakerBot’s Thingiverse is a thriving design community for discovering, making, and sharing 3D printable things. As the world’s largest 3D printing community, we believe that everyone should be encouraged to create and remix 3D things, no matter their technical expertise or previous experience. In the spirit of maintaining an open platform, all designs are encouraged to be licensed under a Creative Commons license, meaning that anyone can use or alter any design.
 
Fans have gone to town making Supernatural 3D projects. Among my favorites is the Supernatural Anti-Possession Trophy, from 3DIY Originals, YouTube channel here.
