Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) head to the town to investigate and meet two hunters who have a personal vendetta against these once-in-a-generation monsters. After the cliffhanger of the last episode, it looks like we are back to a MOTW. The hunters are an interesting parallel to early Sam and Dean who were hunting a once a generation “something” that killed Mary and started their revenge quest. What do you think this creature is? Nancy Won’s first episode was a stand alone that still managed to incorporate the myth arc. Her second episode gave a good feel for Sam and Dean’s extended family with Jody.
