I know I am in the minority here based on the numerous comments I have read, but I am looking forward to this episode. I see nothing wrong with a stronger female presence and Claire is one aspect of that. Based on the synopsis, Claire is *mistaking* actual people for monsters, so it is clear she has a lot of learning to do. I am not sure why anyone would expect her to become anything else but a hunter. We have seen so many times in the past people try to *leave the life* of a hunter and it never ends well. Claire is stepping up and taking action. I dont mind it at all.Why is she supposed to just disappear? She was once a vessel to an angel, she now comes from a broken home, she has had a horrible life, she has lost both her parents and watched her mother die, and she is more than aware of all the monsters out there. She has also slain an angel, which is honestly no easy task. I like that she has a bitchy attitude because life has treated her like crap and she is doing what she can with the lemons she has been handed. She is definitely not acting like a typical prissy teenager with teenage drama, so…. As long as she keeps interacting with Dean, Sam, and Cas, I have no problem with her presence on the show.
It doesnt appear that Cas is actually gonna be in this episode. Is he supposed to be? I didnt notice him in the trailer. That would actually be interesting if he doesnt show up. It would make it more obvious to Dean and Sam that something is off with him. Although, for me, there is too much potential for him to not be there. I can see Lucifer trying to act like Cas who is trying to act like a dad and the whole thing going awry.
I love Jody and will keep an open mind about Alex and Claire. This seasons has been so great this far so I hope it sticks. But if it ends to be a bad episode it will be a bad episode and if it’s good, it’s good. No matter what characters are on it. 🙂

That’s a thought that I had this morning – would Claire be the one to recognize that Castiel is not really Castiel? Dean described him as being “a little off,” but then Sam said, “he’s always a little off.”
Oh now that is an interesting thought. She was once (briefly) Castiel’s vessel. Will she sense that he is not there? Or not alone?

Oh that is too bad because Claire would certainly be able to know immediately that Lucifer was possessing Castiel and using her super ninja hunting skills will use her angel sword and ice the devil all by herself!!!!!!
Then she will continue honing her already formidable skills and take out Amara in Ep. 23! The brothers can just kick back and take that long overdue vacation at the the beach- and maybe even wear actual bathing suits! Ooh la la!!;)
This is pretty much how I expect the entire claire episode to go. Stupid “adults” don’t listen to snarky teen, think she’s wrong, think she’s messed up, only to be proven wrong by said snarky teen as she lays waste to all the monsters and saves the day. Pass.
Pretty much my take on this episode. Some people say Claire’s a strong female. I say she’s a bratty kid with few manners and no tact. She bores me.

I think maybe we might be surprised I hope / the season has been good so far – As has been said I don’t won’t a whingy smart ass Claire and I hope its not The Boys just baby sitting Hopefully there will be some hunting lessons learned I have slowed down the promo vid and there is a body hanging from the school flag pole which is on top of the school roof with Alex in the fore ground where this is in the show — maybe at the beginning ?? Then you see Claire with her angel blade on someones neck So might be good The Boys sitting eating a family dinner will be a nice change
Tho watching that dinner scene all that’s going to be going thru my mind is Katherines con story about Jensen building a mashed potato fort – complete with green beans-which I believe I read somewhere he personally hates.
Heh… I wonder if the green beans were the turrets?

There could have been a gravy moat too. Can you imagine how awful that food must have been, sitting there for hours growing stone cold? Ick.
I was thinking about that just now surely they would just pretend to eat it I loath vegetables have done all my life Mum used to make me soit at the table till i had ate every last bit some nights that could have been 1 – 2 hrs If i still didn’t eat them she would vitamize them up like a smoothy and make me eat them the next day

I read somewhere that Jim Michaels said that folks who are interested in Wayward Daughters will love this ep. So, I’m thinking no one dies. Just a lot of teenage angst.

All suggestions and thoughts are sounding depressing Why OH Why stick something like this into a wonderfull season so far. We are definatly going to loose momentuem / along ride up a short hill
