Yeah… that seems like a big reveal for a preview. I wonder if there is something even more big that will be come to light seeing as how the preview contains such a big spoiler.

It looks like Amara is destroying someone or something. But was that a lighting bolt from the sky. Wonder if that was how the brush caught fire. Or maybe God is entering the picture.
I had a hunch initially she kissed Dean back at the beginning of the season. Also there was the episode where she said they would protect each other and she’s getting closer to Dean. I figured then there was a kiss.
Am really looking forward to this episode. Since it’s mid season wonder what the cliffhanger will be.
Do you think that this is a longer version of that first meeting she had with Dean… basically showing us what they hadn’t shown before, or do you think he interacts with her again? He still looks completely poleaxed to me… like he has no clue what he’s doing or what is going on around him.
I was wondering that after you metioned this Lilmac48 But in the still shot Dean appears to have his FBI suit on.???? Although I hope your idea is right if it happened in the first episode as you suggest maybe it wasn’t a kiss, kiss but a bit of soul sucking == this may explain some of the changes in Dean.
I was thinking more along the lines of the Siren’s kiss. Although I don’t think Amara is a Siren but something stronger. It reminded me of when the guys got trapped by a Siren.
Except for Mark Peligrino which is the best and I love him as Lucifer == I still don’t understand how he looks soooooooo good after being Lucifer’s vessel in S5 he was falling apart and maybe dead ?? Anyway they arn’t giving much away. I agree with everyone there must be something more going on That is to big a reveal in a promo. Various interviews wth J & J hint at something else going on in this ep. So I think we best wait and see. I too hope they are not going to turn Sam into the scape goat again. I hope that he going to the cage is the right thing and he turns out to be the hero. Dean appears to be getting awfully close to Amara or Amara to Dean I hope he can wake up out of this trance like state and back up Sam for a change I didn’t really won’t any of this big bad connection with either of the boys this season. I was hoping for Sam & Dean just fighting this thing No bond No kissing No trance No nothing Just the Boys fighting the Darkness bit disappointed ;););););) I will wait and see hohum Long Summer for us

I’m guessing that Lucifer isn’t actually physical, but is a mental representation. So Sam sees him as his former vessel, even though that vessel is dead.
I too hope that Sam isn’t made a scapegoat, but I’m not going to count on it. Sam has had better storylines and more of a POV than he has since SG left, but I’m afraid that in the end, the writers will continue to refuse to allow Dean to do anything wrong and Sam will get tagged for any and all bad that happens.
