Fan Video of the Week Ultimate Edition: Supernatural 11.03-07 (Part2)

“Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
Well, well, well, on this episode you will be surprised on the idea that I used to find a video. That creepy bunny head that was used first on the episode. So here is where you ask why? It is actually not that long of a story. One of my hobbies is playing computer and console games so I am a gamer girl. When I was younger one of my favorite games were Silent Hill. It is a horror game that doesn’t count only for jumpy scared but creepy psychological horror. In horror scale it wins Supernatural by a mile. It is not for weak hearted so bare that in mind when checking the lower videos about the game and its world.
So, what has that got to do with the bloody creepy bunny head? The whole costume has been on the Silent Hill games and if you thought that it was scary in Supernatural. You have seen nothing yet. I also found Supernatural fan video that had the music of the game and was made totally black and white. Playing a game is even worse than a horror movie because you are part of the world with the main character. I hope these videos won’t scare you away. If Supernatural would have same horror world than Silent Hill it would be great but probably way too scary for most of the viewers. But we did get the creepy bunny!

(lyrics)
Blue sky to forever
The green grass blows in the wind, dancing
It would be a much better sight with you, with me
If you hadn’t met me, I’d be fine on my own, baby
Never felt so lonely, then you came along
So now what should I do,
I’m strung out, addicted to you
My body aches, now that you’re gone
My supply fell trough
Gladly gave me everything you had and more
You craved my happiness
When you made me feel joy it made you smile
But now I feel your stress
Love was never meant to be such a crazy afair, no
And who has time for tears
Never thought I’d sit around and cry for your love
‘Till now
Silent Hill is a Japanese horror franchise created by Keiichiro Toyama and published by Konami and its subsidiary Konami Digital Entertainment. The first four survival horror video games in the series, Silent Hill, 2, 3, and 4: The Room, were developed by an internal group called Team Silent, a development staff within former Konami subsidiary Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo. The later five games, Origins, Homecoming, Shattered Memories, Downpour and Book of Memories, were developed by other unrelated groups. The Silent Hill franchise has expanded to include various print pieces, two feature films, and spin-off video games.
Silent Hill is set in the series’ eponymous fictitious American town. The series is heavily influenced by the literary genre of psychological horror, with its player characters being mostly “everymen”. By contrast, other horror-themed games use a stronger protagonist through character back story or direct game mechanics (more weapons, heavier emphasis on combat), as is the case in Resident Evil.

Quotes:
Dean: I thought we talked about this.
Sam: Yeah, we did, Dean. But why’s it so hard to believe God could be sending me visions about the Darkness?
Dean: You kidding me? He didn’t feel the need to show up for the Apocalypse, why would He give a crap now?
Sam: I keep praying to God because if it is God, and I know you think it isn’t, but if it is, He’s showing me something I don’t know what to do with.
Dean: What?
Sam: The Cage.
Dean: Lucifer’s Cage?
Sam: Yeah. What if He’s telling me I have to go back, what if He’s saying that’s where the answer is to defeating the Darkness?
Dean: Sam, no. No, okay? I don’t know if these visions are coming from God or PBS or what. But we been down that road. Anything having to do with that cage is-it’s suicide, you of all people know that. So no. Just… not gonna happen.

I liked the soul of a man video. I’m a Sam girl and sometimes I forget how much pain Dean has also gone through. The silent hill stuff is too much for me, though I would like Supernatural to be a little scarier sometimes. My adult daughter thinks the Zelda games are too scary, I tease her about that. Thanks for making me even more scared of bunnies.
Well, I am leaning towards Dean, but both men for me have had very tragic life. Most of all I would want to give them a great big hug and say everything would be okay. 🙂
If Zelda scares her don’t show her the Silent Hill pictures! And don’t know if it is a compliment or is it? When you say I made you more scared about the bunny. But I understand completely! I was actually more scared just because I remembered it from the game. Very creepy. 😮
