Sam sneaking up on Rowena and handcuffing her.

Dean putting his feet up on the table and deliberately knocking Rowena’s purse to the floor.
Best Disguise
Dean dressed up as a Taxi Driver. Fedora, Sunglasses, Hawaiian shirt and an Attitude.
Best Crowley Moment
Crowley realizing that he is in way over his head with the ‘Soul Eating’ Amara as his house guest.
Best Castiel Moment
Castiesl’s reaction to Sam’s comment on his car.
‘No accidents, incidents violations or anything remotely interesting involving a crappy ’78 Continental Mark Five.’ ‘You think its crappy?’
Worst “What the…?” moment
Rowena’s ‘Mega Coven’. Not only did it fall flat once…
…But twice! Poor Rowena, being so excited over the name.
Best VFX scene
The three witches burning and then exploding into ashes.
Creepiest Moment(s)
Cas turning to Dean after letting the woman go. The way he tilted his head just before attacking Dean was…CREEPY!
…and Amara’s reaction when Crowley tried to put off another ‘soul’ meal: ‘I said I’m hungry!’
Brothers in Unison
Sam and Dean saying ‘No!’ to Rowena …twice!
Funniest Moment
Dean’s reaction to Cas when he mentions he’s hearing voices. ‘Are these voices telling you to hurt someone?’ Dean asks while backing away.
Best Musical Cue
During the demon and angel secret meeting, Louden Swain song “Big One” starts playing in the background.

Great scenes again Karen and I agree! These are the scenes that stuck out to me too. I don’t know what is it but when I check these out it feel like a weight is taken away from my shoulders. And these also make me re-see the scenes inside my mind. That is why I also love the visual reviews.

Wow Karen you nailed it! Agree with all your choices! Another best Sam moment was when he stated that maybe God is not that far away or something close to that but it did not get too much attention. My second best Dean moment was when he stated that he would not allow Castiel to heal him as he was owning the beating so as to also acknowledge his beatdown on Cas. Thanks! I enjoy this visual summary!

Agreed. Although the lack of any highlighting of his statement or real response by the others make me wonder if I’m attaching undue importance to it. Hopefully not!
I do not think we are attaching undue importance. i was surprised that such a statement from Sam did not raise a reaction from at least Dean such as a raised eyebrow of curiosity of “what do you know or what do you mean”. It will still be a part of the unfolding story of who answered Sam’s prayer, who is sending him visions. I am intrigued.

I agree. I found this episode overall boring but just proves that on SPN you can always pull out some great highlights.

Nice pics Karen! I really didn’t like this episode at all so it’s nice to see some pretty at least. I like your Sam moment and agree with the others that the “God may be closer than we think” comment was another one, and I really liked his “because Crowley is a giant dick!” line too….. love me some sassy Sam.
