Ratings for the Premiere of Supernatual Season Eleven Updated L+3
The ratings for last night’s episode are in and they are very favorable.
Supernatural was watched by 1.94 million people and had a 0.9 in the demographic. This was down from last year’s premiere of 1.2 by 0.3 in the 18-49 demographic and down 560,000 viewers. However, last year Supernatural’s premiere followed The Flash, the highest rated show on the CW. This year Supernatural is facing Empire the best rated scripted show on network television. This is the best rating in the demographic since January. Although the drop in viewers is large, it is better to skew young!
This makes Supernatural the third highest rated show on the CW. Although Jane The Virgin, Reign The Vampire Diaries and The Originals have not yet premiered, Supernatural routinely beat their ratings last year.
Supernatural also made it into the top 5 of shows tweeted about on Wednesday.

IIR, this is pretty close to where we ended up in Live+7 for most of last year
This is quite an accomplishment for an 11 year old show. Congratulations Supernatural! If we can keep this up, we could go on for years.
