Sera Gamble’s new project The Magicians continues to come together. Rick Worthy, our own alpha vampire, has been cast as a Dean Fogg of the faculty at Brakebills, the school of magic in the story.

Random Acts, Misha Collins’s charity, is hoping to become one of ten partners in Microsoft’s Upgrade Your World initiative.

Through this program, Microsoft is investing $10 million to support nonprofits who are upgrading our world. Microsoft has already selected their first nine nonprofits and now the public will choose the tenth!

The organization that receives the most votes will win $500,000 cash as well as Microsoft technology and services.

MissyJack of SuperWiki has posted her San Diego Comic Con audio interviews with Jared and Jensen. Jared talks about the scene in Brother’s Keeper where he tells Dean that Dean is a good person. Jensen goes into detail about cameras and technology and how changes to both have changed the way Supernatural is shot.

Just over a year ago, more than 17 million people, including many from Supernatural, participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
