So The Book of the Damned is a book of spells that can reverse any damnation. Thank goodness Charlie found it. That should be useful. Metatron looks like he is being his usual charmng self with Cas as they look for Cas’s grace. Does this clip excite you? The Book can cure damnation, but at what cost? Will Metatron and Cas find Cas’s grace? What are your thoughts?
I know most here are going to have a problem with Charlie but honestly what is it with Castiel and the road trips? They are as boring as hell. Hopefully Metatron will at least keep the conversation lively.
Although I did enjoy Cas punching Metatron. That was satisfying.
Did you notice the one word that never crossed Carver’s lips? Yep, “Sam.”
Well Sam didn’t get a lot of mention for the last episode and he was a major player. So hopefully Sam will be a part of this episode as well. He seems to be in all the clips I’ve seen so far.
You’re right, the last episode was a very pleasant surprise regarding Sam, but all too often this year he’s been seen but not heard much.
I just watched Goodbye Stranger this morning. RT does know how to write for the brothers (Sam too) so I have a glass half full (which is unusual for me).
True, but the exception to that is the Charlie episodes, where his focus is most definitely on writing Charlie or Charlie/Dean scenes. You notice the most recent clip is all Charlie talking, while Sam sits silently. But I guess we’ll find out tomorrow which Robbie T we’ll be getting!
I guess it depends on whether or not you like Charlie if you think this will be a good episode. I’m guessing that you probably won’t like the episode. And you are correct the clip we saw was a 40 second scene of Charlie talking. I imagine that Sam will do some talking too. I enjoy RT’s scripts, Charlie’s and all.
Well… thank GOD for Charlie is all I can say. Sam is far too much of a moron to figure out how to save Dean himself so it’s a good thing Charlie is around to do it for him. I guess there’s no reason for him to go darkish at all now. Thanks for that really in depth development of Sam’s ‘going dark’ story Carver… it was OH SO satisfying and detailed.
but Sam was the one who found the book of the damned’s information and told Charlie about it and send her to Tuscany … He couldn’t leave Dean at the moment , if they can finde a cure , i think it’s first on Sam then Charlie … 😀
…but I was going to say that. You beat me to the punch.:) Sam certainly wasn’t going to leave Dean and Dean wasn’t going to go to Italy (?) so Charlie got that European vacation the guys always wanted.
But Sam and Dean went to Scotland only a few years ago! More recently than I have anyway.
Yeah but that was SS so how much fun could that have been.
She probably flew the aircraft too. Pilots? Who needs pilots!
Built the plane…
Hell, she probably wrote the damned book….uh, of the damned or dead or whatever it is.
“Darn them all to heck” – Phil, the prince of insufficient light….
(I need to get some sleep possibly …)
No, she wrote the companion – Book of the Really Unfortunate.
Ok, all ya’lls snark aside that is kinda funny.
😉
😉
On appositive note the show is trending right now.
I won’t go into details in deference to other time zones but there was a lot to like about tonights ep IMO.
I’m still trying to process it, but there were a few things I hated and quite a few things I liked.
