Supernatural around the ‘Net this week
Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins and the show have donated items for the online silent auction to benefit William Shatner’s Hollywood Charity Horse Show. The live event will be held April 25. The online silent auction will run through April 26. You can go look at the great donations from our show to benefit this great cause.
Eric Kripke has two new projects in the works. He is creating a comic book miniseries entitled Amped for DC Comics Veritgo Imprint. He is also adapting this work for the USA Network. We look forward to seeing what new worlds he is going to create.
Z Nation, the SyFy Network show that stars DJ Qualls, is about to go global! SyFy has sold the show to stations in France, Germany, South Korea, the United Kingdom, China and Poland. Netflix has also secured the rights to distribute the show to its international territories. Soon the world will get to see DJ in another role!
Ty Olson is going to star in the last season of Continuum on SyFy. He is playing a soldier from the future who is trying to stop the damage that has been done to the timeline.
NASA is conducting a campaign to let people name features on Pluto. Supernatural fans are trying to have one named after something from the show. More details here. The campaign runs through April 24.

Fangasm has started a series on this year’s Vegas Convention. They brought along a photographer with some special equipment, so they have some wonderful pictures to share along with accounts of the convention. People Magazine is publishing a photo shoot of Jared’s house. They put the picture of his home office on their website. The rest of the photos will be in the April 20 issue of the magazine. It may be available now in some places.
Finally, TV By The Numbers has published the Live +7 ratings for the week ending March 22 which included Supernatural at it’s new time on Wednesday at 9:00. The Things They Carried doubled its initial rating in the important 18-49 demographic to 1.2 from 0.6 in Live +same day. That’s a hefty increase and shows that people still will follow Supernatural to a new date and time.
