Supernatural Episode 9.07 – Official Synopsis
The CW yesterday released the official synopsis of “Bad Boys,” aka episode 9.07. Which was filmed as 9.05. Yep, everything is turned around a bit. I’m dying to know how Sam didn’t know that Dean went to a home for deliquent boys. Was he told he went to camp or something? Anyway, this is a nice long one that will fuel imaginations for weeks.
YOUNG DEAN — Dean (Jensen Ackles) gets a call from an old friend named Sonny (guest star Blake Gibbons) asking for help with a ghost. Sonny runs a home for delinquent boys, and Dean was sent there for stealing food when he was younger. Sam (Jared Padalecki) is stunned he never knew this about his brother and asks for more information, but Dean dodges his questions. Another murder occurs while Sam and Dean are at the house, so they scramble to find the culprit before anyone else dies. Meanwhile, Dean looks up an old girlfriend (guest star Erin Karpluk) and recalls his time at the house. Kevin Parks directed the episode written by Adam Glass (905).
I’m so confused! if Dog Dean Afternoon is ep 5 and Bad Boys is ep 7, what’s ep 6? What did I miss? 😮
9.06 is Heaven Can’t Wait, where Dean goes to help Cas investigate a case while Sam, Kevin and Crowley do something with one of the tablets.
I believe 9.07 was originally going to be Dog Dean Afternoon, but it looks like they have switched episodes around.
makes sense that dean goes on his own to help cas. dean wouldn’t want sam anywhere near cas at this point. dean getting sent away as a kid to a boys home? i’d like an explanation on that too. it would have to be a time i would think prior to the age of 16.. which would leave sam anywhere from age 6-12. if dad was off on a hunt, that would’ve left sam on his own and i think he would’ve recollected that. getting thrown in the klink for taking food with what kids get away with today? wouldn’t john have gotten him out right away? it seems all goofy to me. what would make sense…there was a case at the boys home and the only way in would be dean. i can see him purposely getting busted so he can get on the inside with john helping from the outside. keeping that from sam would make sense because even at a young age i think sam would be furious at his father for putting dean in the kind of danger on his own. it would explain why dean dodges sam’s questions too. other than that….guess we’ll see.
