The CW: Supernatural Had A Big Night Ratings Wise
Yes, these press releases tend to be written by promo monkeys, especially when they’re for the benefit of advertisers since upfronts is less than a month away, but it’s still always good to see. Dawn Ostroff wasn’t putting out this stuff about the show a few seasons ago, that’s for sure.
“Supernatural” and “Arrow” both rose in ratings last night, and it got The CW’s attention that it was “Supernatural’s” second highest rated episode of the season. So enjoy the love!
From The CW:
Last night’s ARROW was up versus its last original episode (on 4/3/13) across the board, +4% in total viewers (3.05M), with its most watched episode since 2/27, +14% in A18-34 (0.8/3), +11% in A18-49 (1.0/3) and +50% in M18-34 (0.9/3).
Â
SUPERNATURAL had a big night, with the series’ second most watched episode of the season (2.42M, best since week two on 10/10/12) and its best W18-34 rating (1.1/3) in two years (since 4/29/11).
Â
SPN was also up 25% versus its last original episode in A18-49 (1.0/3) and 14% in M18-34 (0.8/3).
Â
It was the CW’s best Wednesday night since 2/13 in both total viewers (2.74M) and among A18-34 (0.9/3), and its best Wednesday in W18-34 since 11/14/12.
Â
Season to date, SUPERNATURAL averages a 40% gain in total viewers once L+7 delayed viewing is added in, as ARROW sees a 35% gain. In A18-34, ARROW grows 49% when DVR viewing is added, and SUPERNATURAL rises 48%.

I’m so glad for us and for Arrow. I really hope that the CW keeps us together on Wednesday because I think the shows work well together.
Ditto on that percysowner.
I triple that!! I love both shows and really look forward to my Wednesday nights.
I’ll admit I haven’t been able to get into Arrow(I’ve never been that big into to superheros, so it’s probably just me) but I so happy it’s doing well, because I do think it is a great pairing.
