And so concludes the 24 days of Christmas here at the Winchester Family Business. A big thank you to everyone who commented, everyone who just enjoyed, and to Alice and especially Jenniffer, who posted most of these. That was some project! I think I’m going to miss it just a little… On the twelfth day…
The Winchester Family Business presents a new feature, something meant to look back through the long history of Supernatural and salute, inspire, move, entertain, trigger some very naughty thoughts, or make you realize that it’s all merely a desperate stunt to do something during Hellatus time when we’re all bored and stretching for material. So…

Editor’s Note: This story of a mystery in Kenmore, Washington first appeared in the comments section on Nightsky’s latest “Threads” review. A debut story from an aspiring writer, this script was worthy of a fate more distinguished than being lost forever among the hundreds of doomed stories that are submitted every day to television producers…

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN From the beginning, our great and merciful overlord Alice Jester had been having fun tossing captions onto scenes from our beloved show. When I came on board, of course I loved them as she and I have similar senses of humor. So I gleefully contributed some of my own when inspiration…
Thanks for the tribute Ardeospina!
HAPPY CANADA DAY!
Cheers!
Really? The way Jensen feels about hockey? That’s funny. Well, this is one American who knows NOTHING about Canada, except they are sooo lucky to get to be able to see the show filmed. Also, VANCON always looks amazing (on YOU TUBE anyway).
Happy Canada Day to all my friends from Canada
Wayhey. happy Canada Day. Oh, there’s nothing that isn’t celebrated on this site so every day is a holiday!
Great manip, Ardeospina. I like the antlers, especially.
All I know is, ya’ll have the better side of Niagra Falls. Love it up there. Hope today is a day off for you all!
Hi Arde,
Thanks eh, for the lovely Canada Day snapshot. You must know a fair bit about Canada, because you got two of our national beverages – beer and anything hot in a Tim’s cup! I also particularly like the curling rock. That hints a little bit of investigative journalism on your part. Well done!
And Red Green with his duct tape? Brilliant. Because as he says “If the women don’t find you handsome, they ought to find you handy”. Luckily Sam & Dean are both!
Canada Day was excellent for me – sun, sand, & swimming in a Superior Lake with some of my favourite people.
Hope July 4th is equally special for all of you.

Glad you all liked my little project!
Pragmatic Dreamer, I must confess that I had inside information about the curling stone. You see, I used to curl in Pittsburgh for four years and knew a bunch of Canadians. I loved curling but just couldn’t afford the cost and the time with a new baby.
I also used to work at a company that did captions for reruns of the Red Green Show, and I loved it. So yeah, I guess I do know a little bit more about Canada than I let on!
And I meant to say…. the hockey helmet & stick were a wonderful touch. There really should be an episode where Sam & Dean have to lace up the skates and play a game of shinny. I’m giggling just thinking about it!
