Introducing The First Ever WFB Fan Awards – Taking Your Supernatural S7 Nominations
As I’m sure many of you know, part of our looking back at the season gone past is our annual awards. We’ve done awards ever since season three, then went back and did retro awards for seasons one and two for good measure.
In all this time, we have never taken some of those award categories and put them to an open vote. This year, we’re righting that wrong. Now, it’s your chance to be heard.
We have chosen 15 categories where fans will select the winner. Below are the categories. For the next week, we will take nominations for each category in the comments. We’ll select the top three to five nominations in each category and use those for the final vote. Results will be announced as part of our "Supernatural Season Seven Awards."
Here are the categories. We’re dying to see what your nominations are!

Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene – Dean telling Sam about what’s real and what’s not in “Hello Cruel Worldâ€.

Worst Ending to an S7 Episode – Dean killing Amy in “The Girl Next Doorâ€. Even though I agreed that she was a monster who had killed other humans for her son’s life, I still hated to see her die and by Dean’s hand.
Best S7 Quote – “Dude, on my car, he showed up naked, covered in bees.†Dean to Sam about Castiel in “Survival of the Fittestâ€.

Best Season Seven Episode:
Hello Cruel World
Worst Season Seven Episode
do I even need to say it? Season 7, Time for a shark-jumping
Funniest S7 Scene
Stoned Dean and the turducken
Saddest S7 Scene
Bobby dies!
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene
Stone number one
Best S7 Badass Moment
Dean chopping off Levia!Dean (and Levia!Sam)’s heads
Best S7 Motel Room
Repo Man. Too tacky even for the devil.
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock
using a very obscure Yardbirds song to perfectly frame Castiel’s return to smitefulness
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death
Bibbing
Best S7 Guest Star
Not the most obvious choice… But on rewatching, I find I can’t take my eyes from the screen whenever Dick was on it. James Patrick Stuart proves sometimes less is more.
Best Ending to an S7 Episode
Plucky Pennywhistle. Brothers actually almost enjoying themselves.
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode
By far, Slash Fiction. Without that ending, it would have been by far the best ep of the year.
Best S7 Quote
Dead plants with creamy goo. It’s like eating self-righteousness.
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture
all of The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years
Bobby’s final “living” memory of his boys bickering over movie snacks.
Best – Death’s Door
Worst – Defending Your Life (such a missed opportunity)
Funniest Scene – Dean lip-syncing air supply.
Saddest scene – Bobby calling them idjits then dying.
Best Brotherly Bonding – Stone #1
Best Badass Moment – Dean at the limo threatening Dick.
Best Motel Room – I don’t remember any hotel rooms. I liked the rock, paper, scissor house with its semi- functioning bathroom.
Best Use of Classic Rock – Dean’s Sex Scene! Whoo BOY! You Shook Me
Most Gruesome Villain Death – Dick’s I guess but for most gruesome I’d actually go for Dean’s sex scene again. Or the ballerina’s.
Best Guest Star – Felicia Day
Best Ending – Survival of the fittest, but Bobby reappearing was terrific too.
Worst Ending – Dean killing Amy.
Best quote – “That’s a lot of foxholes†Or Sam’s “More anime or are you strictly into Dick.” I can’t help it they both make me giggle every time.
Best pop culture shout out “You go, Dumbledork.”
Iconic moment – Purgatory
Hi, I’ve been lurking around this site for a while (love your reviews! And the motivational posters are the best!) and figured I’d finally put my two cents in.
Best Season Seven Episode: Either “Death’s Door†or “Reading is Fundamental.†Both were incredible emotional journeys in forty minutes, and both kept a great pace.
Worst Season Seven Episode: “Defending Your Life.†I love Dean, but the fans don’t need to have his guilt complex pounded into our skulls again. Plus, the villain was boring, poorly written, and too easily defeated.
Funniest S7 Scene: Dean talking Charlie through flirting past the guard and Sam losing it in the background in “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo.†Or Cas’ completely non-sequitur reaction to getting his finger pulled in “Reading is Fundamental.â€
Saddest S7 Scene: The final scene in Bobby’s head, with the boys bickering over licorice and Bobby looking on with love before his last memory fades away. It still brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: The Warehouse scene in “Hello, Cruel World.â€
Best S7 Badass Moment: Maybe a little subtle, but the boys dressing as air traffic controllers and switching out the the word of Metatron with a Borax bomb in “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo†was flippin’ awesome.
Best S7 Motel Room: The room with the hot tub in “Party On, Garth.â€
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: “Born to be Wild†with the return of the Impala. I might only be voting for this because I missed Baby sooooo much.
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: Does Cas (sort of a villain at that point) leaking black goo and then exploding count? If not, I’d go with the guy that was drowned by his brother in PPMM. (I would count the Borax-burning of the Leviathans, but that doesn’t actually kill them.)
Best S7 Guest Star: Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer.
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Either PPMM, when the boys actually laughed for the first time in forever, or that agonizing cliffhanger at the end of Survival of the Fittest.
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: Amy.
Best S7 Quote: “You’ve just been Garthed.â€
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: Sam’s little Hermione pep talk for Charlie in “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo.†And Dean’s response: “You go, Dumbledork.â€
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: Bobby’s death.
So excited! All off the top of my head, so I’m sure I’m forgetting some good stuff. But, I stand by these answers!
Best Season Seven Episode – Hello, Cruel World

Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene – Dean taking care of Sam’s injured hand in Meet the New Boss
Best S7 Badass Moment – Charlie stepping up and deciding to help the guys in Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo
Best S7 Motel Room – Garth’s, in Party On, Garth (not too many noteworthy motel rooms this season)
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock – Black Water, Doobie Brothers, Hello, Cruel World
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death – Not too many gruesome deaths this season. I guess I have to go with Dick Roman.
Best S7 Guest Star – Felicia Day
Best Ending to an S7 Episode – the final scene of “Plucky’s…”
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode – the 10-second, obviously ADR Sam/Dean moment at the end of Born-Again Identity
Best S7 Quote – “Nobody puts Baby in a corner”
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture – Sean Connery, The Untouchables in Time After Time
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years – Bobby’s Death
Best Season Seven Episode – Hello, Cruel World
Worst Season Seven Episode – Adventures In Babysitting.
Funniest S7 Scene – Sam’s first visit to Plucky’s. Poor Sammy. 😆 (I know how the poor boy feels, I hate clowns too.)
Saddest S7 Scene – Bobby’s death.
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene – Dean taking care of Sam’s injured hand and the Stone Number One speech in Hello Cruel World. Sorry, I can’t choose between those two.
Best S7 Badass Moment – Dean killing Levi!Dean and Sam.
Best S7 Motel Room – The Tiki room.
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock – Carry On My Wayward Son.
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death – Bibbing.

Worst Ending to an S7 Episode – The lack of a decent brotherly moment at the end of TBAI.

Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture – “You go Dumbledork”.
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years – The Stone Number One scene in HCW.
Best Season Seven Episode – Hello Cruel World
Worst Season Seven Episode – Defending Your Life
Funniest S7 Scene – end of Plucky Pennywhistles
Saddest S7 Scene – Bobby’s death
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene – ‘Stone number 1 scene’ (but VERY slim pickings this season)
Best S7 Badass Moment – the switcheroo at the airport, then the borax bomb in TGWTDADT – a rare and satisfying victory
Best S7 Motel Room – The one with the hot tub in Party on Garth
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock – Carry on my Wayward son
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death – not really a death but the Levis trying to get out of Cas’s stomach!
Best S7 Guest Star – Felicia Day or James Marsters
Best Ending to an S7 Episode – the ambulance scene in HCW
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode – Dean and Cas in Purgatory (Ugh – don’t want to watch the D/C show in s8!)
Best S7 Quote – “Believe me, okay? You gotta believe me. You’ve gotta make it stone number one and build on it.”
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture – all of TGWTDADT, but particularly Sam’s Harry Potter pep talk.
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years – ‘stone number 1’ speech and that whole exchange in the warehouse
Best Season Seven Episode: Death’s Door.
Worst Season Seven Episode: The Mentalists.
Funniest S7 Scene: Dean&Charlie co-flirting to the security guard in The Girl with The Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo.
Saddest S7 Scene: Bobbys one last IDJIT to the boys before passing in Death’s Door.
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: “Stone nro 1” talk in Hello Cruel World.
Best S7 Badass Moment: Dean being his old self while tied to the chair as Jeffreys prisoner in Repo Man.
Best S7 Motel Room: Party on Garth.
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: “Born to be Wild” Baby. 😀
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: The Melted Cheese in The Girl Next Door.
Best S7 Guest Star: I liked the posessed guy who liked being posessed, Jeffrey from Repo Man (Russel Sams, I think). He was at first so sympathetic (and sorta sweetly pathetic) and then later über creepy and uncomfortable when true colors were revealed. Plus he killed a dog, that bastard.
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Hmmm… I gotta say the finale, Survival of the Fittest.
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: Dean killing Amy in The Girl Next Door. Amy killed to save her sons life and she was ganked. Then later the witches killed for shits and giggles and got to live. Now that was fair.
Best S7 Quote: “Sidewinder soup and salad combo goes to Big Bird. TDK slammer to Ken Doll. And a little heart-smart for creepy uncle.” in How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters.
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: All the Untouchables -stuff from Time After Time.
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: Bobbys Death scene. Both. 🙂
This was so much fun!!! Thank you Alice!!
Crap. The Melted Cheese -bit wasn’t a villain, so I gotta rethink…er…
I’ll say Deans daughter, since she was Deans kid and Sam just plugged her. Game over. Harsh much?
Ooh, this is difficult, I’m having a hard time at just picking one thing per category. But I’ll give it the old college try anyway.
1. Best episode: “Death’s Door”, it still brings me to tears.
2. Worst episode: “Defending Your Life”, lost opportunities on that one.
3. Funniest scene: Dean lip-synching to Air Supply’s “I’m All Out Of Love” after putting his baby away. I’m still laughing!
4. Saddest scene: without question, Bobby dying.
5. Best brotherly bonding: the warehouse scene in “Hello, Cruel World”.
6. Best badass scene: it’s a toss up on this one, Dean threatening Dick Roman outside of the hospital, or Dean lopping off LeviDean’s head.
7. Best motel room: the Tiki room.
8. Best Classic rock: for the joy of seeing Baby back, “Born to Be Wild”, but I prefer The Yardbirds song for when Cass gets his angel mojo back.
9. Most gruesome villain death: bibbing (yuck).
10. Best guest star: I really like Felicia Day.
11. Best ending: “Survival of the Fittest”.
12. Worst ending: “The Girl Next Door”.
13. Best quote: again I have two favs, “Believe in me. Make it stone number one” for the pathos & “Nobody puts Baby in the corner” for the giggles.
14. Best shout-out to pop culture: pretty much everything in “The Girl With the Dungeons & Dragons Tattoo”.
15. Best iconic scene: Bobby looking fondly at Sam & Dean arguing over snack food as his best & last memory.

Best Season Seven Episode: Hello, Cruel World
Worst Season Seven Episode: The Mentalists
Funniest S7 Scene: Either the interrogation scene or the phone scene in Plucky Pennywhistles. ‘No! No….’ Or chasing the ‘tiger’ in the same episode. Dean pulls his tail off and Sam stops and shuffles the long way around the clown instead of running past him. The fight scene. Honest to God, Plucky’s was a great episode.
Saddest S7 Scene: The second to last scene in Death’s Door. Sam and Dean’s small tentative smiles of relief when Bobby says ‘Idjits’ and then just standing there, stunned, as the action happens in slow motion around them.
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: The rainbow slinky. I know I should be saying the warehouse scene but given what happened in the aftermath that scene lost a lot of its power for me.
Best S7 Badass Moment: Okay, not exactly spoilt for choice this year. (Checks what everyone else is saying….) Ah, the dressing up at air traffic controllers scene. Brains are badass too!
Best S7 Motel Room: The only one I can remember is the one in Plucky Pennywhistles. My brain is gone so bad lately.
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: May I say I honestly don’t know? I’m shocking for anything to do with music.
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: It wasn’t necessarily gruesome but I liked (for want of a better word….) Chronos death, mainly because of his prophetic statement at the end.
Best S7 Guest Star: Rick Worthy (Alpha Vamp)
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Back of the ambulance scene in Hello Cruel World.
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: The Mentalists. (I’m sorry but The Mentalists is going to get the worst everything from me.)
Best S7 Quote: This is subject to chance but “Dead plants with creamy goo. It’s like eating self-righteousnessâ€. Way to go LeviSam, you bastard. I hope you catch mad cow disease. That or the waiters statement in How to Win friends….. when he is giving ‘Bird Bird’, ‘Ken doll’ and ‘creepy uncle’ their meals. Or ‘If this is about that methlab, it wasn’t me, it it was my brother. We got the same fingerprints’ (complete with wiggling lion paws!)
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: I can’t think anymore! I need a season 8 rewatch (and I’m on holidays now so I can do that! Woohoo!!!)
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: The final scene in Death’s Door of Sam and Dean bickering because (a) it’s really symbolises that the show is, at heart, about family and (b) it had been so long that we’d seen anything as pure and simple as that scene. Many of those type scenes in the past few seasons have been as a result of dire circumstance but in that scene Sam and Dean just looked happy and at ease being in each others company. There was no ‘Oh shit, the world is about to end’ vibe about it. T’was nice.
Best episode: I’m torn between “Death’s Door” and “Reading is fundamental”. Uhm, I think I’ll go for “Reading is fundamental”, because of all the juicy psychological/philosophical thoughts it raised in my head.
Worst episode: “Shut up, Dr. Phil!” Useless, with unsympathetic guest stars/characters and not even funny.
Funniest scene: Dean leading Charlie into seducing the security guy. But I rolled at Mr. Fizzle too!
Saddest scene: Bobby’s ghost going “elsewhere”, reflected in the boys’ faces (plus Castiel’s quiet presence)
Best brotherly bonding moment: one of the 2-3 of the season? Well, “Stone n° 1” is the one for me.
Best badass moment: Dean killing Dick
Best Motel room: I remember just the one with the hot tub in “Party on, Garth”. I think this is somewhat telling.
Best use of classic rock: “Born to be wild” and the Baby is BACK!
Most gruesome villain death: well, the most gruesome deaths were the “victim of the week” ones, so for a villain death… uhm… yes, the bibbing. Not seen on screen, but just the thought… ugh.
Best guest star: I still don’t know what a “guest star” is on this show. James Patrick Stewart was in very few episodes, but was he actually a “guest”? He was the season’s Big Bad! So I think I will go for Felicia Day or Mark Pellegrino.
Best ending: “Death’s Door”, but the cliffhanger at the end of the season was really unexpected and exciting
Worst ending: “Slash Fiction”. Sam going away after a fight with Dean was just trite and childish
Best quote: for the sad/serious ones: “I adopted two boys, and they grew up great. They grew up HEROES!”; for the funny ones: “You’re a virile manifestation of the divine”
Best shout-out to pop culture: Actually, ALL “The girl with the Dungeons&Dragons tattoo”
Best iconic moment/scene: Bobby watching his last memory of the boys
Best Season Seven Episode: “Death’s Doorâ€
Worst Season Seven Episode: “Season Seven Time for a Weddingâ€
Funniest S7 Scene: Dean flirting with the guard in “Girl with the D&D Tattooâ€
Saddest S7 Scene: Bobby’s final happy memory in “Death’s Doorâ€
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: “Sammy? Hey, come on now. Come on, I’m the one with the broken leg, you got to carry me. Sam!â€
Best S7 Badass Moment: “Well, as fate would have it, I adopted two boys, and they grew up great. They grew up heroes. So you can go to hell!â€
Best S7 Motel Room: Rufus’s cabin
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: “Black Water†in the opening of “Hello Cruel Worldâ€
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: Cas, “Hello Cruel Worldâ€
Best S7 Guest Star: James Patrick Stuart
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: “Repo Manâ€
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: “How to Win Friends and Influence Monstersâ€
Best S7 Quote: “He broke my spoon!â€
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: “Good morning, Vietnam!â€
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: “Idjits.â€
Addendum
I finally thought of a gruesome villain death: The Bibbing!
I can never vote for just one scene – It’s not fair for the others I also loved! So, there you go, and there’s probably more I can’t remember now:
1) Best Season Seven Episode: Can’t make my mind: Meet the New Boss; Hello Cruel World (because of the brotherly scenes) and The Bourn Again Identity.
2) Worst Season Seven Episode: Adventures in Babysitting
3) Funniest S7 Scene: a) Dean’s face when Sam told him he was getting married; b) Dean and Air Supply; c) Bad cop Sam (Plucky); d) Levi-Sam and Levi-Dean dialogue; e) Cas finding Crowley in the trailer with Nancy Sinatra and f) Psycho Dean: “Lester – is that a German name!†(Ha!).
4) Saddest S7 Scene: a) “idgits†and Sam and Dean’s faces; b) Dean’s suicidal phone call to Bobby; c) Sam telling Dean he was too tired to be angry in TBAI; d) Dean shouting to Death to kill Castiel and e) Dean pleading to Cas and saying “You can turn this around, please!â€.
5) Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: a) Warehouse scene in HCW; b) the exchange of gifts in PPMM and c) Dean asking to see Sam’s hurt hand and d) Sam describing to Dean his hallucinations and Dean trying to argue with it.
6) Best S7 Badass Moment: a) Dean shooting Jeffrey; b) Suitcase exchange and Borax bomb; c) Dean threatening Dick outside de hospital and d) Sam cutting off Edgar’s head.
7) Best S7 Motel Room: Men’s room with beds – Repo Man.
8) Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: Yardbirds and Castiel.
9) Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: The man killed by his dead little brother, in Plucky. Not a villain, but the woman drinking hot water from the kettle in Out with the Old gave me the chills.
10) Best S7 Guest Star: Our recurring characters: Death, Crowley, Lucifer plus Edgar and Dick Roman.
11) Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Plucky. I would also vote for Purgatory and Sam alone scenes, but I’m saving my judgment for what happens next season (I love the alone Sam face!)
12) Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: Chrissy killing the snake-monster.
13) Best S7 Quote: a) Stone number one; b) Nobody puts Baby in the corner; c) Big Bird, Ken Doll and creepy uncle and d) the best one: “Dead plants with creamy goo. It’s like eating self-righteousness.†(just perfect!)
14) Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: “I’m the Eggman†(The Beatles, in Plucky) and The Untouchables and Sean Connery.
15) Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: a) the boys bickering over movie snacks / Chuck Norris-Jet-Li/ “Idjitsâ€/â€My boys†(all of them); b) God-Castiel; c) Stone nº One and d) I love the whole Castiel/Yardbird scene: “Why didn’t you tell me?/Because Sam in dying in there/Because of meâ€
And Octobelle05: I enjoy ‘Walking on Sunshine’, but labing it as “classic rock” is a sacrilege for a classic rock buff, as myself!

Best S7 Motel Room: Can’t think of any, really. Agree with those voting for Rufus’ cabin 🙂
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: Impala resurrection and Steppenwolf’s Born to be Wild, Survival of the Fittest/Honourable mention: Dear Mr. Fantasy, end of Adventures in Babysitting

Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: Amy, The Girl Next Door – more horrifying than gruesome; particularly as her son then walks in (NB. victim deaths in The Slice Girls were really gruesome)
Best S7 Guest Star: Impossible to choose! Kim Rhodes/James Patrick Stuart/Felicia Day/ Rick Worthy/Nicolas Lea/ Kevin R. McNally/Steven Williams/Julian Richings/Madison McLaughlin/Benito Martinez/ DJ Qualls/ Dorian Brown (Melanie), The Mentalists etcetera, etcetera and so forth…
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Dean in Purgatory, Survival of the Fittest. Honourable mentions: Hello, Cruel World on the way to Leviathan hospital/Bobby revealed as a ghost, Party on, Garth/ Sam surrounded by Hellfire, Repo Man/ Last line: ‘Enjoy oblivion’, Time after Time after Time
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: Slash Fiction ‘break-up scene’ (I know the Js tried to improve it but it still did not work for me)/ (Dis)Honourable mention: the last line of The Mentalists: ‘Forget it, Sam. It’s Lily Dale.’ Blah.
Best S7 Quote: No one quote really stood out for me.
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: Charlie and Sam’s conversation about Harry Potter, The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo. Honourable mention: Pulp Fiction diner scene, Slash Fiction
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: Dean abandoned in Purgatory, Survival of the Fittest/Honourable mentions: Dean killing Amy, The Girl Next Door /Stone No. 1 scene in Hello, Cruel World.
Interesting that for me, personally:
• Trying to come up with badass moments was difficult
• The best brotherly bonding moment was in Episode 2 of a 23-episode season and
• Victim deaths were much worse than villain deaths
Looking forward to seeing what we all come up with 🙂
Best Season Seven Episode: “Death’s Door”
Worst Season Seven Episode: “Season 7, Time for a Wedding”
Funniest S7 Scene: Drunk Dean from How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters
Saddest S7 Scene: Bobby’s Death Door final scene
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: Hello, Cruel World stone number one scene
Best S7 Badass Moment: The LeviBoys shooting up the diner.
Best S7 Motel Room: Tiki Motel Room from PPMM
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: Baby’s return, Bad to the Bone and I know not classic rock, but Garth’s BBD montage…classic.
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: Amy, “Girl Next Door”
Best S7 Guest Star: I promised Jim Michaels I would love him forever if Nicholas Lea ever guest starred – guess who I choose? (Felicia Day is a very close 2nd).
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Meet the New Boss
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: The Born Again Identity
Best S7 Quote: “You’re a virile manifestation of the divine” (truer words never written) or “You’ve been Garthed.” (and there were too many dick jokes to choose from.)
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: Shout out to Mr. and Mrs. Smith scene in Slash Fiction – Air Supply scene
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: I agree with many others – Bobby’s final scene as he watches the boys disappear.
Best S7 Episode – Death’s Door
Worst S7 Episode – Adventure’s in Babysitting
Funniest S7 Scene – Slash Fiction/Dean singing Air Supply song “All Out Of Love”
Saddest S7 Scene – Death’s Door/Scene between Bobby and his wife when he told her he didn’t want children. 🙁
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Moment – Time After Time/When Dean left Sam the note in the baseboard in the past and Sam found it in the present. 🙂
Best S7 Badass Moment – Survival Of The Fittest/RETURN OF THE IMPALA!! 😀
Best S7 Motel Room – Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie/Tiki Room
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock – Survival of the Fittest/Born To Be Wild and the RETURN OF THE IMPALA!
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death – Survival Of The Fittest/Death of Dick Roman
Best S7 Guest Star – The Girl With The Dungeons And Dragons Tattoo/Felicia Day
Best Ending To An S7 Episode – Death’s Door/Dean and Sam arguing best movie food while Bobby watches. 🙁
Worst Ending To An S7 Episode – The Born Again Identity/Would Have Like To Have Seen More Of A Brotherly Moment
Best S7 Quote – The Girl With The Dungeons And Dragons Tattoo
Charlie: The Eye of Sauron is on me.
Harry: Well, if you need anything, I’ll be back in the Shire.
Best S7 Shout Out To Pop Culture – The Girl With The Dungeons And Dragons Tattoo/Sam’s pep talk to Charlie using Harry Potter references
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years – Hello, Cruel World/Stone #1 Scene Between Sam And Dean
Best Season Seven Episode
Death’s Door
Worst Season Seven Episode
Of Grave Importance
Funniest S7 Scene
Slash Fiction: Dean singing Air Supply
Not sure why it didn’t all post, but here’s the rest. (in parts maybe lol )
Saddest S7 Scene: Death’s Door Bobby saying Idgits
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: Hello cruel World: Dean grounding Sammy in the warehouse
Best S7 Badass Moment: Death’s Door Dean telling Dick he’s scared or stupid.
Best S7 Motel Room: there Will Be Blood Bufflo room
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: Slash Fiction Air Supply The scene was perfect use of the song.
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: Slash Fiction Dean chopping his own head off.
Best S7 Guest Star: James P Stewart was great as Dick
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Survival of the Fittest: Dean in purgatory.
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: Amy’s death still annoys me.
Best S7 Quote: Death’s Door Dean “Your either scared or stupid.”
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: Pennywhistles Rainbow Slinky
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: Slash Fiction Dean singing Air Supply. It never ever gets old!
Best Season Seven Episode: Technically, the best episode was probably Reading is Fundamental, but the one I enjoyed the most was Repo Man.
Worst Season Seven Episode: Let’s see: Adventures in Babysitting, the two Garth ones, the Felicia Day one, Dr. Phil, or Time for a Wedding? I’ll cast my vote for Time for a Wedding, because it crossed the line in making fun of female fans.
Funniest S7 Scene: My vote goes to the Levi-Sam and Levi-Dean dialogue in Slash Fiction, but I loved Dean spitting out his drink like a little kid when caught by the owner in Party On, Garth, Dean flirting with the security guard in that awful episode, and Sam’s interrogations in Plucky’s.
Saddest S7 Scene: I’ll go with Dean telling Scott about disappearing in Out With the Old, ““Sure you can. It’s not as hard as you think.†That says so much about Dean’s life in general. Since he was four, Dean has been an invisible entity…to his family (John, Sam, and Bobby), without friends (except Cas, who betrayed him), to the hunter’s community (who apparently know nothing about the Winchester brothers), and to the general public. It made me very sad for Dean. I’m not going with Bobby’s death, because they ruined it by bringing him back as GhostBobby.
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: Stone No. 1 speech.
Best S7 Badass Moment: Dean smashing the glass in Death’s Door and then going out and threatening Dick in the Limo (Death’s Door). Second choice would be Sam and Dean torturing the demon in Repo Man.
Best S7 Motel Room: The ‘men’s room’ hotel room in Repo Man.
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: Born to Be Wild in Finale with beautiful Impala porn.
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: I’d go with the lady drinking hot tea water, but she was a victim. I don’t like the CGI cutting off of the heads, but I’ll put my vote to Dick’s death, because Dean tricked him and then stabbed him in the neck with the random nun bone.
Best S7 Guest Star: Julian Richlings (Death) is always my favorite. Second choice is Nicholas Lea (Eliot Ness).
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Purgatory scene in finale, (but this may just make me mad, depending on how S8 goes). Second choice would definitely be Dean’s killing Amy Pond. That was cold and so very Dean, and it totally took me by surprise.
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: Charlie leaving the possibility that she could come back in the Felicia Day episode. I didn’t like a 30-something trying to be an early 20 geek, and I sure don’t want her back.
Best S7 Quote: “Dead plants with creamy goo. It’s like eating self-righteousness,†and I liked “Big Bird, Ken Doll and creepy uncle,” second best.
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: No opinion. I found so many of them bad in S7. I want shout-outs to classic rock songs like the one Dean said in S5, “I’ll sleep when I’m dead.”
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: I’ll go with Dean coming out in his 40’s attire. I would go with Stone No. 1, but the show didn’t do anything with that, as the brothers were not ‘together’ together all season. Actually, I didn’t find much about S7 to be iconic at all.
Best Season Seven Episode: “Slash Fiction”
Worst Season Seven Episode: “Defending Your Life”
Funniest S7 Scene: “Stop laughing, Sammy.”
Saddest S7 Scene: Bobby’s final memory fading away
Best S7 Brotherly Bonding Scene: Stone number one
Best S7 Badass Moment: Dean threatening Dick in “Death’s Door”
Best S7 Motel Room: The Tiki room from “Plucky’s”
Best S7 Use of Classic Rock: “Born to be Wild” heralding the Impala’s return
Most Gruesome S7 Villain Death: Bibbing!
Best S7 Guest Star: Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer
Best Ending to an S7 Episode: Ghost!Bobby appears at the end of “Party On, Garth”
Worst Ending to an S7 Episode: Dean killing Amy in “The Girl Next Door”
Best S7 Quote: Bobby: “Well, as fate would have it, I adopted two boys, and they grew up great. They grew up heroes. So you can go to hell!”
Best S7 Shout-out to Pop Culture: Sam giving Charlie the Harry Potter pep talk
Best Iconic S7 Moment/Scene That Will Be Talked About For Years: The unicorn shooting a rainbow out of its ass.
Great idea!
1/Best episode-Deaths Door.
2/Worst episode-Season 7-Time for a Wedding.
3/Funniest scene-Dean stoned on Turducken.
4/Saddest scene-Bobby’s death scene in the hospital.
5/Brotherly Bonding Scene-for me a tie between Dean telling Sam to rely on him, make it stone #1 and the final scene in PPMM, when Sam gives Dean the slinky.
6/Badass Moment-Dean talking to Dick Roman outside the hospital in Deaths Door.
7/Motel Room-I liked Garth’s taste in motel rooms.
8/Classic Rock-another tie for me. Use of Dancing on Sunshine and Born To Be Wild.
9/Most Gruesome Villain Death-I really liked the intensity of Dick Romans death.
10/Best Guest Star-I liked Julian Richings in every episode he’s in.
11/Best ending-Purgatory scene in finale.
12/In Season 7-Time for a Wedding. I thought it would be funny to let Garth and (damn, I forgot her name) the actress who was playing Sams bride to try to get together for a few minutes in some of the episodes.
13/Best Quote-enjoyed the Big Bird, Ken doll and Creepy Uncle line.
14/Best Shoutout to Pop Culture-The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tatoo.
15/Bobby’s final scene when he watches Sam and Dean relaxing and squabbling over Jet Li and Chuck Norris.
Whew! That was hard!
My nominations would be:
Best episode: Hello Cruel World
Worst episode: Tie between Season 7 Time For A Wedding and Adventures in Babysitting
Funniest Scene: Crowley’s “Bollix” when God!Castiel shows up at his trailer to the strains of These Boots Are Made For Walkin’ by Nancy Sinatra in Meet the New Boss
Saddest Scene: Sam sitting in the waiting area looking scared and sad when Dean storms off after rebuffing Sam’s need to talk about his fear that Bobby won’t survive in Death’s Door
Best brotherly bonding scene: Dean waking Sam and dressing his hand, or the stone number one speech at the warehouse, both in Hello Cruel World
Best badass moment: Crowley showing up to retrieve the erring crossroad demon at the end of Season 7 Time For A Wedding. Crowley is so badass (only bit of the whole episode worth watching)
Best motel room: The spa room in Party On, Garth
Best Use of Classic rock: Black Water, Doobie Brothers from Hello Cruel World
Most gruesome villain death: Most gruesome deaths were all victims not villains. Maybe Cas exploding at the beginning of Hello Cruel World?
Best guest star: Julian Richings as Death, Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer or Kim Rhodes as Sheriff Mills
Best episode ending: Levi!Cas at the end of Meet the New Boss
Worst episode ending: The complete lack of brotherly moment at the end of The Born-Again Identity or the end of Adventures in Babysitting, can’t decide
Best quote: Dean “Ever heard of a town called Prosperity, Indiana?” Sam “Has anybody?” From Shut-up Dr Phil
Best shout out: The Popeye reference in Slash Fiction “He gets his spinach back, we’re gonna end up having to drop a car on him just to stop him.”
Best iconic moment: Sam and Dean getting drunk in the boss’s office at the brewery in Party On, Garth
