After reading all the lively discussions here from the last few days (don’t get me wrong, they’ve been good), I went on Twitter last night and asked just that. The challenge was to say why they loved Supernatural in 140 characters or less. The responses were pretty amazing. So lets take a pause here for pure happiness and remember the love. I’ve even found a few photos to enhance the fun!

SPN is my favorite addiction, more than chocolate or any other thing. And pls don’t cure me of it. Gonna die loving and being addicted to it.

It’s the best thing in my life . I have a international family I love, cuz it’s home 🙂 and it’s my happy place..no matter what.
Suddenly, they were the two best friends I never had. It may only be a TV show. But it’s so much more than that to me.

I was going to visit and no longer comment but I just had to say how very much this was needed. It is nice to be reminded of why we love this show. Karen, I couldn’t have said it better! Wonderful idea and great pic’s Alice.
It could be beacuse watching them during my dialysis treatments saves my sanity. Or because I have two sons. In reality the main reason may sound silly. Because jensen made me cry. I’m 49 yrs old. Always believed no matter how good a show is, it’s still just a show (or movie). No point in wasting real emotions. BUT-He crys, I cry. EVERY TIME!!! Even after seeing an epi 20 times. He’s GOOOD

Supernatural makes me happy because it is at once incredible, pure imagination and the very essence of reality. Love and generosity rule in the SPN universe. Family don’t end with blood.
Why do I love Supernatural?
The power of an epic story that draws me in & provides an escape from reality, the bonds of family that don’t end with blood, the charisma of the actors & the characters they bring to life, the childhood memories revisited of growing up with American muscle cars, and the incredible friends I’ve made in this fandom!
I like this idea.
It’s about getting past the petty squabbles, and forgiving each others’ transgressions, to stare horror in the face, unblinking, and together.
Hahaha, that was very Mommy like from you, Alice! Please, kids, don’t fight, in spite of our differences, we are family after all!
And that is what Supernatural is about, and I love it!

I agree wholeheartedly with Vivian – thanks “Mom”/Alice for the reminder that we ARE a family. That certainly put the past few article postings in to a different perspective for me.
And one last heartfelt “thank you” to Alice for including the picture of Kim Manners in this article. I miss his guiding hand terribly and always include him in our “family”.

I could do it with 3 words. Sam Dean Bromance. But I won’t.I love each brother individually. Dean- the hard edges (cough hard body) with the gooey center. He cares so much. He’s take hit after it but he just keeps fighting and keeps saving the world despite it (and his)suicidal tendencies.
And Sam with puppy dog eyes (cough hard body) who keeps trying and succeeding despite everything that been thrown at him. He was destined to go darkside and overcame it. And manage to save the world in the process.
And the Bromance. I love how much they love and care for each other. I go squishy at their brotherly moments. I bought them as brothers from the very first show. They can have a whole conversation with a few looks.
We definitely need more bromance moments!!!
Why I love SPN? Simple…

Why do I love SPN? The undying devotion of two brothers to a cause that would be utterly hopeless for us mere mortals. And the guys ain’t too hard on the eyes either!
So this is a fail on the character count, but there’s just too much to say:
My luv for this show has mellowed & grown like a good marriage does w/time. The fireworks have faded but the love is still strong. I look forward to seeing each episode as if visiting a good friend. It has a mix of all the things I luv: flawed heroes, hunky actors with XTREME talent, action, relatable plot, witty dialogue. And of course, “family don’t end with blood.â€
Awww I missed joining in on this. Started a new job. Stupid life, getting in the way of what’s REALLY important. Supernatural. Ok, so better late than never! Here goes:

why I love supernatural…
well, it’s har to choose, cause I love everything. heh, I’m just 13, so well… Supernatural makes me feel free, and not bond to a future everyone just decide for me. Like they just drive around in the Impala, hunting things. I cry, I laugh, I smile, I worry. I show lots of emotions when I watch supernatural. What pisses me off though, is that they can’t tell each other what they feel and what secrets they carry. but I love those parts too, hard to explain. My head feels so light after watching an episode, it’s like my daily doze of extreme sugar. I smile, when Dean come with his cocky comments, or when they just joke around. I’m so glad i discovered Supernatural, and I still remember the very first episode i saw.
So shortly said, the things that makes me happy, is the Impala, Sam and Deans bond, their personalities… and everything else… 😉
Best tv show ever! 2 brothers who love each other more than life itself, 2 actors whose chemistry clicked in from the first & made it real to me, loving friends & even some loving villains.
What more could I wish for? It fills me with love and keeps me looking forward to living on. (I’ve been disabled the last few years, & Show keeps me interested in life).

Dean + Sam +Impala + friends + fate + free will + monsters + angel + demons + courage + sacrifice = love, laughter, tears, and inspiration.

I only discovered this show a few months ago and thank my lucky stars for that.
No matter what, these brothers sacrifice for each other constantly. It is because of this show that I have become a better parent to my adult children, and also a better wife with my new look on life – don’t let the little things get in the way of showing that you love and support each other.
I am also a huge fan of the acting talent, the storylines and the SPN family. Also…..Jensen, my inspiration.

but i wanna talk more! i’m ashamed to say that i didn’t catch up with this show earlier and i just became a fan for about 1 year ago but , I’ve got to say , Supernatural is playing a big part in my everyday life now. every time i try to keep myself back and stop caring about it (because it’s so addictive!) i just can’t! it’s just crawled into my life and stuck in there. Supernatural taught me what should family means and how you can be strong and withstand everything that’s against your will and you can make ur own choices but you have to do it right. it taught me , it doesn’t matter that none of its episodes is actually real but it also shows how can u be and u should be in the times of hard.
this show is like real life because Sam & Dean Winchester are just like us, they are not some up in the air characters who think they’re the best , they are so much like us and that’s why everyone in any spot in the world can sympathize with them . we can feel their pain , their happiness , their angst and their agony.
and on top of that is SPNFamily , which is the coolest thing i ever seen about a show , i mean i saw Lost, Prison Break , 24 and many other shows but none of them and its fans had this effect on me like Supernatural fandom did , they’re creative and rabid and proud and we can do what we want , because that’s just how we roll! lol
and one last thing that i earned from watching Supernatural was to get to know the most amazing and talented cast and crew in the world and most importantly for me was to knowing Misha Collins.
he had such a huge influence on me and my life and I’m damn happy that i have known him. he taught me too many good things from his life and his career and every little thing that he does and he made me wanna be a more better person in my life.
and that is not a thing you would get from every show out there and that’s why i adore and admire and love and worship Supernatural!
what makes me happy about SPN well only to things makes me happy one the gag reels they are so damn funny and 2 jared oh jared so hot oh baby just seeing him every week makes me sooo happy I could cry other then that nothing else.
I found Supernatural on Netflix last summer, and have been devouring the episodes ever since. I think it is one of the all time greatest TV Series! I consistently say after each episode, “That was a good one!”.

I found SPN after I was no longer able to work, it gave me something to get up for,someone to hope and dream for. I have bought all seasons now and much more stuff but this is the only show ever I have looked online for others that felt the same, and of course they were here! I have very few movies I like enough to watch over and over and no tv shows but for me this one is truly special. Jensen and Jared and Misha if they were different in how they interacted with fans may have turned me off a little but all it did was pull me farther in! The best show, the best actors and writers and crew and the best FANS!
