Episode Eleven – The Week in Supernatural History
The Week in Supernatural History – Episode Eleven
Well, episode eleven of season seven was kind of a letdown, let’s see how it measures up against previous episode elevens:
2006:

Dean is bossy. And short.
Pig in a Poke!

Boop!

So long, Robo-Sam.
Hi Elle
Well except for ‘Creepy wall children’, I would have to say that all the other Number Elevens have worked out good for me. Especially ‘Pig in a Poke’ being one of my all time favourites. 😆
Thanks for these Elle, I enjoy looking back at the previous years.
Mystery Spot is probably IMO the best episode of the series. 10/10
I liked Scarecrow especially the brilliant NA as a very creepy Meg. 8/10
Sam Interupted was a dissapointment, I went in thinking we’d get into Sam’s head but all we got was a look into Dean’s head and angry Sam who seemed to have sprung up out of nowhwere and then promptly dissapeared again too. It did have some funny moments though, BOOP and Dr Babar the standouts. 6/10
Family Remains was a creepy MOTW story that didnt connect with the brothers storyline as the best episodes usually do. There was entirely too much Dean angst and not enough Sam. Easily forgettable. 3/10
Playthings is another of my favorite episodes of the series, a real look inside Sam’s head after all that Dean angst. 9/10
Appointment in Samarra was one of the most predictable episodes of the series. I ended up fast forwarding most of this one, basically everything but Soulless Sam. 5/10
Adventures In Babysitting was another stinker. 3/10
Sam Interupted was a huge disappointed . ‘I have been angry all my life and I dont know why?’ no neither do we Sam .
Scarecrow and Playthings are ones I watch quite often but then I prefer the earlier seasons and Appointment in Samarra was alright but Family Remains I have only watched once.
Adventures in Babysitting I cant judge because I havent seen it.
I really liked every one of these episodes. I even liked the creepy children in the wall. The one I really, really liked was Sam Interrupted, despite the Sam rage thing suddenly popping up like a Lisa love of my life or I went with Ruby because of you thing.
My least favorite was Adventures in Babysitting. It wasn’t a bad episode, though. What I did not like is Dean and Sam being saved by a super-hunter 14-year old girl, and I was very disappointed that Ian Tracey was only used to sit in a chair. I am not looking forward to Krissy returning. I’ve had it with hero kids attached to apron strings on this show when there is so much more interesting stuff they could get into.
All apart from Creepy wall children, and boop isn’t my favourite although I did like the Pudding!
The rest were Awesome 🙂
Adored Mystery Spot – the best episode of the entire series so far IMO. Also loved Scarecrow and Playthings. Those pics from Scarecrow, Playthings and Mystery Spot get me all nostalgic for the good ol’ days. S1, 2 and 3 are by far and away my favourite seasons.
Not so keen on any of the others – didn’t like the Sam rage coming out of nowhere in Sam Interrupted, can’t remember a thing about Family Remains so it obviously wasn’t a keeper for me and the kid in Adventures In Babysitting grated on my last nerve.
You had me at ‘Mystery Spot’. 😀
My number one episode of all time. 😀
The end of the Soulless One is a close second. 😀
We know that ‘Meg’ was the girl’s name, so why are we still calling the dark haired version ‘Meg’ as well? Things that make you go hmmmmmm. 😆 ‘Ruby’, was the demon’s name, remember when she took over the dead body, her name on the death certificate was ‘Jane Doe’. ‘Lilith’ was the demon’s name. But then, ‘Brady’ was the name of Sam’s friend, not the demon inside. Just like the Campbell cousin that was a demon. But why is ‘Meg’ the name that is used, no matter what the body is, including Sam’s?? Enquiring minds want to know. 🙄
‘MYSTERY SPOT’ rules.
