The 21 Bitchface Salute
In honor of Sam Winchester’s 29th birthday, I’m pulling out this oldie but hilarious goodie from November, 2010. After all, Sam patented this look and should be recognized for it. I present, the 21 Bitchface Salute!!
Alice Jester is the founder, editor-in-chief, head writer, programmer, web designer, site administrator, marketer, and moderator for The Winchester Family Business. She is a 30 year IT applications and database expert with a penchant for creative and freelance writing in her spare (ha!!) time. That’s on top of being a wife, mother of two active kids, and four loving (aka needy) pets.
Yes, I did actually avoid writing my review and doing the Photo Gallery for this silliness instead. I just needed some fun after doing so many reviews and recaps in a row. I’ll pick up the norm tomorrow. I hope you like!

These are awesome. I’m mourning the loss of the bitchface which goes hand in hand with the loss of Sam. Even the Saminators bitchface is a poor imitation of Sammy’s. On the surface it’s there but we know it doesn’t go to his soul.
Oh, how Dean will rejoice when he sees the likes of bitchface no. 15 again!

Thank you for this. I miss Sammy. I miss the brothers’ camaraderie…Wouldn’t it be sad if, after Saminator (hee! –> Tim the Enchanter) got his “caring part” back and became the old Sam again, this old Sam decided that he’d prefer to be unfeeling again? (I’m sure that some of us can relate to this–when it’s so much better not to hurt ever again or care ever again.)
I really don’t know how Sera & Co. are going to convince us that Sam will want to become a caring person again.

My favorites were the first ‘my brother is an idiot’, ‘house of wax’ (you know that Jared was like WTF when he saw that in the script and wanted to make sure it got a major bitchface), and ‘power of love’ (dah, we could use some of that power now). 😀

Alice…Thank you so much for this delightful and much needed reminder of why I am still mostly a Sam-girl. Those faces are priceless and my favorite ones are “My brother is an idiot”,”My brother is a stupid jerk and getting coal in his stocking”,and “that’s it, the power of love is saving us now, smart ass”. The pursed lips alone are memorable, couple them with adorable dimples it becomes amusing, but add in those intense eyes and it’s a good thing Dean ratherly see those looks, cuz this season would be the time for Mr. Dean Smart-ass to quake in is boots…I love the characters dearly, I miss Dean’s 6yr mischievious boyfaces and Sammy’s tolerant bitchfaces…I anxiously await the day for their return, until then…In Bitchface we Trust or as a Canadian…O Bitchface, We Stand on Guard for Thee
Funny in reality I think Jensen gives those same bitchface looks to my beloved Jared.

I LOVE SHORT ATTENTION SPAN THEATER. I WISH IT WERE ON THE HOMEPAGE AGAIN.
I REALIZED THAT SAM TO MY KNOWLEDGE HAS NEVER ONE-PUNCHED DEAN IN THE FACE. YES THEY HAVE FOUGHT BUT NOT THE POW IN THE FACE. WOULD DEAN TAKE IT, PROBABLY NOT. HE WOULD JUST HAVE TO HIT SAMMY BACK BEING THE BIG BRO AND ALL.

Punching people is Dean’s thing. When Sammy’s mad, he takes off. Dean talks with his fists, Sam talks with his feet. I love that this has been very consistent throughout the series.

I know it’s probably not the reaction Sam is looking for but every time I see one of these bitchfaces I just want to fuffle the scowly little head up on him. And when it’s combined with dimples….. Such a little cutie pie!
I think the Soulless Sam attempt is definitely real. Let’s face it, at this stage, bitchface is so ingrained in Sam that even were he without a head, he’d still be able to pull one off.

November 2010: the Soulless One was a d@ck, Dean was stressed (somethings stay the same 😆 ), Bobby was alive, THE IMPALA was putting the smackdown on a certain piece of plastic crap, Cas was alive but was being a lying liar that lies. Good times.
