Caption This! #430 aka Countdown Continues
Apologies for running the contest a day late, but better late than never I always say!
Before we proceed with the next installment, let’s talk about last week’s contest. AlyCat22, we must all bow to your greatness. Not only do you have the winning caption, but you provided just the caption I needed for this week’s header! We don’t have too many Countdown headers, so I appreciate any help I can get! You can see that proudly displayed at the top. As for my choice for winner, what sealed the deal? As I’ve said before, I’m a sucker for SPN references. This one is just perfect, especially since the jumpsuits remind me so much of the ones Sam and Dean wore in “First Blood.”
As an honorable mention, huge kudos to paladinteacher and Nate for coming up with this inspired twist on the last week’s header cap. I’m putting this in the winner’s archives!
Alright, onto this week’s choice. I’m a sucker for ensemble photos, especially in a show with an ensemble! We’ve selected captions like this before for Supernatural, so let’s see what you all can come up with for this selection from episode 1.04.
Also, an informal poll here, but how are you all enjoying these Countdown captions? We are trying to liven up the selection a bit, but once we’ve run with these for a month or so, I like to check in to see how we are doing. Should we continue with Countdown, or are you ready to go back to Supernatural? Or do you prefer we run both? We’ve certainly done that before! Any feedback here would be appreciated, or we’ll just keep rolling with what we’ve been doing until the Countdown episodes run out. We are here for your entertainment, so your voice matters!
