All title cards





The title cards are imaginative, cool art and animation themselves and they are meant to tell the story/give a hint of the season/episode in general. When you see one you immediately know that it is Supernatural. Can't wait for the season 11 one. So in the meantime I piled up all the title cards and made another poll.

9.04 Slumber Party

Unused alternative title card. This was tweeted by Jared a day before the episode aired. It features the message: "This is for the SPNFamily whose dedication and love drive us to continue creating this wonderful world. Keeping up the Family Business."

What do you think season 11 title card will look like? Which title cards are your favorite and why? Did you notice from the title cards something you didn't notice before.

From season 3 title card I actually noticed the first time that at the start there was hands stretching towards the screen.

My favorite title card is The Monster at the End of This Book.

I like season 3, 5, 8 and ten title cards.

For season 11 I was thinking black and white contrast where a Latin spell that was used for TD writes from left to right many times then swirls and blasts towards the screen leaving Supernatural written on it.

Little bit like this but from left to right and ending is different of course.

Or it could start like TD started. Shadows piling up to the middle and then a wave and Supernatural logo coming towards screen. The darkness formed from the spell letters.

Wow Lilah. These truly are an embarrassment of riches. I love when they use alternate title cards because they are always brilliant. It was so hard to choose but if I were forced to I would choose Changing Channels. It makes me laugh every time I see it. But every other choice was a close first runner up!

I like the alternate title cards too... they are special and only seen with that episode. My absolute fave is the X-Files one... is that Clap Your Hands? Running a very close second is Changing Channels... so funny. I also really like The Monster Movie one and the Wedding one; not a great episode, but a great title card. When it comes to season long ones I like most of them...they all seem to fit their seasons very well. For season 11? Not sure where they are going to go. Simple is better in the long run I think.

I agree with all when it comes to the title cards - I tend to lean toward the later seasons because they seem more mature like the boys

Season 11 - Pure Black with white to grey shadows of the boys Cas & Crowly and SUPERNATURAL barely visiable coming forward -- very somber if I could draw I would show you what I mean

I lean toward later seasons though i do like Monster Movie, The Monster at the end of this Book and Clap your Hands i chose 9 and 10.

11 I don't know just wait and see maybe it will be as amazing as 10 until then, back to work i go re-watching its now august needs to be October. ;) 2 months, 5 days to go

Oh I think S11 title card will be black. I'd bet on it! :D

My favourite has to be S3. The echo effect sounds better and those clouds look great.

Interesting. My favorite is season 10. And for season eleven. What would be something new? I am so bad in this.

Maybe a map like this and it is swallowed by the Darkness that also covers the title Supernatural.

Also a figure maybe standing in the middle and the Darkness grows up from the ground like vines engulfing the character and then exploding and revealing the Supernatural title. Hard to think anything than black and white.
