Latest Jensen Ackles News: Countdown Cancelled, Tracker S3 Photos, Vought Rising
Jensen has a lot going on lately! Considering all that’s going on, I figured we should catch up.
First, he’s been filming Vought Rising, which is the origin story of the supes featuring Soldier Boy. This is of course after he finished filming season five of The Boys, which has a premiere date of TBD. I know the promo photo has been out for a few weeks, but I thought I would share. Oh man, talk about a dashing young supe! Definitely not the scraggly version from The Boys. Nice coat!
Jensen also just finished filming the first two episodes of season three of Tracker, and CBS has released various promo photos. There’s so much…pretty. Jensen and Justin Hartley definitely show all the good genes that run in the Shaw family! There are 18 premiere and BTS photos and just, wow. Thud, floor, me.
Not all of the news has been great though. We had been covering season 1 of Countdown, Jensen’s other series on Amazon. Unfortunately, the word came today that there would not be a season two. Amazon has cancelled the show. Me thinks the unfavorable ratings on Rotten Tomatoes might have something to do with it. Anyway, farewell Mark Meacham, we hardly knew ye.
