Caption This #369
Since our conversion to WordPress, I’ve been heavily working on a massive project to fix our archives. A majority of our older articles were in pretty bad shape, aka bad characters, bad links, and missing images. I’ve been fixing articles and rebuilding the image galleries during this process and there’s been a happy side effect to my efforts. I’ve found all sorts of gems for this contest! I don’t know where to begin. But I did settle on something for this week.
Before I reveal my chosen caption for this week, how about I announce the winner for Caption This #368? I was very happy with the creative entries on this one. You all didn’t disappoint! However, there were two entries that really made me laugh out loud.
First, congratulations PollyAnna!
The second winner, well, none other than our Caption This! overlord, Nate Winchester! Is this me possibly sucking up or showing favor given his history with this contest? That would be a fair argument, except I really did laugh out loud over this one. The car warranty spam phone calls I get are always pushy! Plus, hasn’t Nate earned a mention by now?
Okay, now for this week’s contest. I saw this particular gem recently while fixing our images for season five’s “Sam, Interrupted.” When Sam Winchester is stoned on happy drugs, funny captions happen!
I can only imagine what could be said here! Seriously, I need you all to fill in the blanks. I can only imagine!
As a quick admin note, I’ll be shooting to release these once a week each Monday evening now. So, you all have until next Monday (1/15) to share your wildly creative entries.
