Motivational Posters – “Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie”
Homicidal clowns, octopus/vampire hybrids, vindicitive unicorns, sharks in a ball pit, and Sam and Dean each finding their inner child, even if Sam’s resulted a very f’ed up way of confronting a lifelong fear. It all makes for plenty of prime material for motivational posters, don’t you think? Share on Facebook Tweet Follow…
Supernatural Haiku Episode Guide, Season Two
Welcome to the haiku episode guide for season two! This was where it all began for me; I wrote the very first of my episode haiku for “Croatoan,” and later went back to fill in all the holes. Dean’s despair and resignation in “Croatoan” made poetry my only appropriate response; that has never changed. Hope…
Supernatural’s Sound of Music – Season 2 Part 2
ByKarenEver hear a song that immediately makes you think of a person or a moment in your life, or a scene in a movie or television show…say a show like Supernatural? I put together a list of songs that alway bring to mind certain scenes and episodes whenever I hear them. In this installment of…
Supernatural Season Two: Hits & Misses – Part One
ByElleSupernatural Season Two Hits and Misses: Part One Greetings! So, these pieces seem to spark some intense discussion (which is awesome – some great thoughts and ideas in the comments on the last two installments) and I just wanted to clarify a few things before going into the rest of them. When I refer…
Review – “Born Under A Bad Sign”
“Born Under a Bad Sign” –Robin’s Rambles by Robin Vogel This was the episode of SUPERNATURAL that sent me searching for online fandom. I was so impressed, I needed to find other fans with whom to share the adoration. Sam has been missing for a week, and Dean is frantic. When he finally receives a…
Reviews That I Missed: “Supernatural” 2.17 – “Heart”
Writer’s note. This is a modified review of something I wrote in 2008. I have kept a lot of the same content but I’ve added a little more analysis and elaboration. I was also using a very primitive blogging template at the time that wasn’t really conducive to posting pictures online. That will be…
Wonderful! Season 2 does have a lot of iconic moments in it, and you captured them all wonderfully.
Gotta love a shout out to the Trickster!
Season two rocked!!!!!!! 😀
Intro to a whole bunch people. Most of whom are no longer with us. Some we miss (RIP Ellen, Jo, Andy). Some we cheered when they died (Gordon, Ava, Jake) Intro to the Croatoan sickness, the Trickster, djinns and the list goes on and on.
But Julie, we now know that John made the ‘second’ deal. 🙂
Season two, good times. 😆 😆
Love love the second season. Hard to believe all those we loved are now dead.
Loved sweet Andy. Adored the Trickster, Jo and Ellen. (well, I liked Jo!) Don’t forget poor Madison.
Loved to see Gordon, Ava and Jake bite the dust.
My favourite seasons are 1, 2 & 3.
Thanks Julie.
Thanks Julie for another wonderful slide show. Ah, Season 2 which introduced us to the irrepressible trickster as well as the nefarious Gordon. From watching the hilarity of Dean as a PA to the incredible heartbreak of Sam killing Madison. What a season. 🙂 the actors really stepped up their game and we got to see a lot of Bobby Singer, who was a terrific addition to the show. They certainly packed a lot into this season.
