But that is not the only way that the show breaks out of its corner of the TV viewing world. Probably the most legendary time was the 'Lucifer is Coming' Twitter incident of 2009.

As a tribute to the start of Season 5 the fans got this phrase trending on Twitter. It freaked out a lot of people, who, not knowing it was Supernatural, started tweeting back 'God is Here' (apparently Puff Daddy/P. Diddy started it, and went on about using God's army to defeat the devil). In the end Twitter got enough complaints that the topic was removed altogether.
So here's my question. Have you ever seen Supernatural referenced somewhere unlikely or unusual. Where it is an in-joke or just a misuse? Or something about the show was misunderstood by the outside world?
I have seen Sam and Dean in their white doctors' coats used for a poster in a hospital surgery (which I know I won't be able to find), and I have seen Jensen (so not really Supernatural, but close) used in a hair-restorer commercial ... they photoshopped him with a tonsure and put it on a giant billboard in India (possibly, maybe not) ... I am not going to post that because I think it is awful and I know they tried to get it removed .. but that sort of thing DOES happen!
I have a few examples (I hope) but if you have any, feel free to share!
