Welcome to Season 11 discussion page! The introduction text at the start will always be the same and even though there are "no rules" there are some guidelines for these pages. These pages will be updated frequently when the material is available.

Target is to keep the discussion going and fun for all. Also the ideas, speculation and episode analyzes I have heard really deserves a spot to get out.

S11 - Episode nine "O’ Brother, Where Art Thou"

AMARA UNLEASHES HER POWER UPON THE WORLD — Amara (guest star Emily Swallow) unleashes her power on the local townspeople as she issues a shocking challenge. Dean (Jensen Ackles) tries to better understand the hold Amara has on him, while Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) come up with a plan that could have disastrous consequences. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (#1109). Original airdate 12/9/2015.

Just a thought here. O Brother Where Art Thou is a 2000 movie by the Coen Brothers. It doesn't contain the first appearance of the song "O Death" - it's an old song - but that song does figure prominently in the movie. Could this episode clear up something about what happened to Death?

We know who the Darkness is, and before The CW series breaks for its winter hiatus, viewers will know who is sending Sam (Jared Padalecki) his mysterious visions.

and

"Let's just say this - you're on the right track knowing that it's not Dad. Not young Dad, not old Dad, not normal Dad. Not any Dad," Padalecki teased at Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural in Pasadena while Jensen Ackles (Dean) assured fans that they already know the answer.

"You will find out very, very soon," Padalecki continued. "In fact, once we get past Richard Speight's episode we're going to find out."

That's right, you're definitely going to want to tune in for episode 9. Titled "O Brother Where Are Thou?," the December episode will feature talk of the cage and a mention of Adam.

Somebody mentioned that the kiss may have happened in ep 1 -- Dean having a flash back Which I was hoping to be right But looking at the still shot Dean appears to have his suit on OH Deary me PLEASE don't go there PLEASE

Waiting for some grand insight as to Dean's kiss with Amara, come on you clever ladies. Please give me some peace that all will be well And that Sam won't let Lucy out.

Lie if you have to I'm worried that Sam is on that fast train to the cage.

Thanks Lilah == I was wondering about a "out of body experience" with the help of Rowenna, would the cage be kept in such a place as to not be able to get there through Crowleys Hell Thats creepy it must be in a horrible place. I'm not so worried about a romantic interest between Dean and Amara I was more concerned with the effect it would have on the Boys relationship. With all the talk of back to the old formula I was conerned this would get in the way. Sam at present is being so open with Dean and Dean is being somewhat unsure of opening up to Sam I could just see it going badly. Yes I agree the connection is creepy it is a chemistry But maybe it comes back to curiosity on Amara's behalf and more bewilderment on Dean's. Although as you said if I was locked away for eons and Dean (or Sam) was the first human created by god, that I saw I would like to well check some things out as well mmmmmmmmmmmmm :D :D ;) ;)

Soooooooo glad to see Dean standing with Sam (phew) He's not alone Ohh I could just cry. :( :( :( :( The writers have at last got it right. I hope Sam can keep it together and only chat with Lucy for now. I dare say the big moment won't come till the end of season. Rowenna is back - obviously Rowenna doesn't hide very well They always seem to find her. So we know how Sam gets to Lucifer, but not what happens. I don't think Lucifer is going to give up his infomation for free. After everything Lucifer put Sam through I hope he shows him some respect or admiration for his tenacity ??!! Now Dean - those 3 angels are either sent there with Dean to meet Amara or they are under her control and are there to protect her and possibly Cas had something to do with this or is close by to help Dean ?? :( :( :( :( Nail biting episode Wednesday and possibly a few more answers to discuss over the Hellatius break. Plenty of Christmas pudding and a few glasses of wine, and we all should be able to foresee the second half of the season LOL
Don't forget the Darkness WOW they havn't even touched on that yet -- WOW what a season
