Welcome to Season 11 discussion page! The introduction text at the start will always be the same and even though there are "no rules" there are some guidelines for these pages. These pages will be updated frequently when the material is available.

For all, this is a page to analyze, speculate, discuss about the episode BUT do it past your good/bad personal opinion about the show, a character, story, writer, show runner or anything that is part of the show. Target is to keep the discussion going and fun for all. Also the ideas, speculation and episode analyzes I have heard really deserves a spot to get out.
5. All are welcome!

S11 - Episode seven "Plush"

SHERIFF DONNA RETURNS — Sheriff Donna (guest star Briana Buckmaster) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help after a horrific murder with supernatural elements happens in her town. Sam continues to have visions and asks God for help, which frustrates Dean. Tim Andrew directed the episode written by Eric Charmelo & Nicole Snyder (#1107). Original airdate 11/18/2015.

I think Dean has always been angry with God, ever since his mother died. I think that's why Sam's faith in God bothers him. How can you believe in someone who let your mother die kind of thing. Sam's different. He isn't angry with God. He actually has always prayed to God especially given the life he's been drawn into. I mean we've seen eps when he was a child and he was afraid of the life....or wanted nothing to do with it...so it makes sense that early on Sam would pray the monsters don't get him and his brother and his dad. I think Sam 's unending faith in God is as strong as it is because of the life he lives. I'm one of the ones leaning towards Sam's visions being either God himself or a mouthpiece for him. I don't think his visions are bad...I do think that all roads will eventually lead to the cage....that the boys will inevitably have to talk to Michael/Lucifer. But I don't think sam's visions are coming from Michael or Lucifer.

I do think that by the time sam and dean beat the darkness, that dean will start believing in God...not in his existence, but actually believing in God himself and that he actually does care and always has. ;)
