My review finally made its way to blogcritics today.  I apologize, but it went a little later than usual because of other work I did for them on behalf of The Big Bang Theory.  Better late than never!  There are already a couple of good comments there that get you thinking.

Taking a break…y’all…Elle2 

Hi all, I thought I’d drop a note to let you all know I’m taking a brief break from episode reviews. Frankly all, I’m exhausted. Work is excellent – thank, God, for I’m self-employed and paid by the job…so very, very happy it’s almost too much at times. My new puppy is a great joy and he takes a lot of time, all of which I’m happy to give. My creative energy is at an all time low, however, so instead of churning out reviews or thoughts or something trying to achieve coherence, I’m going to sit back and relax a bit and regroup.
 
I’m thinking perhaps I’ll simply summarize along the lines of The Road So Far series and have that ready for the inevitable *gulp* hellatus-shortus to come sometime in November. I’ve got at least two other articles tumbling around in my brain that could be helpers during that ‘sure-to-come’ break later this year. 
 
So, in the meantime I’ll use the episode comment thread to post my initial thoughts and expound (or just pound) upon them more at a later date.
 
Thanks to all for making this site an awesome place to come to both during the 17 week hellatus and now during the early part of Season 5, still amazed to say we’re in Season 5…wow.
 
Also, here’s another picture of the new ‘man’ in my life…he turns 11 weeks on Tuesday September 22, he’s getting so big already. Stairs are no obstacle anymore and we have some puppy friends to wrestle and chase so Munchkin the kitty doesn’t have to do it all anymore.

It's funny, I think about the scene in Airplane, where the stewardess assures the passengers that everything is fine and then casually asks if anyone knows how to find a plane.  Sure, my situation here isn't that dire since I'm only technically missing a co-pilot, but um, anyone want to start writing weekly reviews?  Maybe some weird articles like the crazy ass thing I posted this evening?  Take your chance to break into the glorious world of unpaid blogging?  There is a standard though, but that's something I could discuss with interested parties offline. 

I'll be posting an article soon asking for suggestions on how to improve the site, but I thought I would take the occasion now to ask while I could.  Now go enjoy some reviews!

Thanks for the support, all. I'll not run away for good, I check in daily to read comments and enjoy the 'company' here. Can you believe that tonight is the third episode! Wow...uh, time sure does fly when you're having fun. I'm enjoying the 'time off' even though Alice never once pressured me for anything, never. It's a lot of fun to write and read but right now I'm enjoying the reading side of things.

Less than 12 hours 'til tonight's eppie...see everyone on the thread!
