Guilty of ravagement, this episode shatters illusions for the characters and the audience.
“Sorry to burst your bubble.”

Writers: Brad Buckner & Eugenie Ross-Leming
Director: Thomas J. Wright
Director of Photography C.S.C: Serge Ladouceur
Airdate: October 20th, 2016.
WHAT DID I WATCH?
Who knew that it was possible to flatten intriguing multidimensional characters
into one-dimensional stereotypes in the space of 30 minutes, or less.
Awesome Hug, but the delay was terrifying.
In addition to reader disillusionment, characters with illusions became disillusioned.
(Not my kind of humour.)
“Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood Clean from my hand?” (Macbeth II.ii.)
NOT AN ERROR!
Noone should have to conform to some arbitrary beauty standard established by the media.
Sneak around on Dean
Note the gold fantasy lighting/ Blue memories/ and reality lighting
that sometimes mixes up as Sam struggles back.
SET/ LOCATION/ ARTWORK/LIGHTING
Rock Concert in Cleveland !!
Note the interplay of blue/red/real lighting echoing Sam’s illusion.
Here too, people are watching an illusion.
Lucifer’s Awfully Good Face Melt!
(Makeup and SFX)
This sequence of perspective/stunt work
ending with Lucifer’s appearance in the hall!
Lady Toni captured in the mirror fragments on the floor.
Rick Springfield’s debut performance as Vince Vicente/Lucifer
Mark Sheppard as Crowley, Reading Superman.
Welcome Back Ruth Connell as Rowena!
Hang in there, Sister!
Samantha Smith as Mary, kicking it!
♥Misha Collins as Castiel♥
Jensen Ackles as Dean
A pro at providing some good laughs!
There was some interesting eye-rolling, silent dialogue between Cas and Dean over the mom issue, but…
Ya, it’s old, but admit it, you still laughed.
