Aldis Hodge (Jake) was part of the cast of Hidden Figures.
Tonight, January 29, 2017 the cast of that movie won the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) award for “Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture”.
Hidden Figures has been a surprise breakout film. In its first week of wide release, the movie sprung to the top of the box office, unseating Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as the number one film for the week of January 6-12. It remained the number one movie through January 19.
This was not the first award that the entire cast has won. The film received the Ensemble Performance Award at the 2017 Palm Springs International Film Festival.
The cast was commended in this review.
