The T-shirts and sweatshirts that were at the heart of Jared's fund raising campaign, "Alway Keep Fighting", are starting to be received around the world! At Jared's request, fans from all over the globe have been tweeting and posting Facebook pictures of themselves wearing their shirts. Jared's fund raiser for depression awareness has attracted worldwide media attention as well.

When Jared started his fund raiser he had a modest goal to sell 1000 tee shirts and to bring some attention to the disease of depression. When his campaign ended, he had well surpassed his goals with 46,435 tee shirts sold! Even more impressive is that this campaign has been covered not only by major publications in the United States, but also around the world.

Several European publications picked up the story including melty in France, Promi Cabana in Germany, LaCosaRosa in Spain, and canalrgz in Portugal (article in Spanish),

In Brazil TribunaHoje, and Cinepop both covered Jared's fund raiser.

At least one other celebrity has embraced the cause. Boxing champion Chris Van Heerden tweeted that he will wear Jared's shirt when he enters the ring on May 9th in Burmingham, UK.

An overview of celebrities from many countries championing causes is in Fusion . The article talks about Benedict Cumberbatch who has used his fame to promote several charitable causes and also brings up Stephen Amell's fund raising efforts. It then talks about Jared and the success he had with his recent campaign.

Congratulations, to Jared! His hard work and interest has brought attention to depression and has reached people around the world.

I've worn my shirt out doing errands the last two days and several people stopped to ask me about it. They recognized Jared and I told them all about the campaign. It's really awesome to be able to do it and I'm really proud of Jared and to be able to spread the word.

That's awesome. Did the T-shirt end up being a way to meet fellow fans of Jared and the show?

Yes. I also met someone who loved Jared from "Gilmore Girls" and I told her that if she loved him on that then she would love Supernatural. We had a nice discussion about it and I encouraged her to start watching from the beginning. I also explained about the campaign. It really is awesome. I can't really describe the feeling when I'm wearing the shirt. It's like there's a light that follows me and draws people in. Ha, or maybe it's just Jared. But it makes me wish I'd bought more in different styles so I could wear it more often.

Yes it is...alcohol and drugs are often used to fill a void or an emptiness which sometimes lead to overdoes. Emotional Illness is real and if the person is not getting professional help, they need to. I see a therapist every week and my page helps also. I hope that it helps someone knowing they are not alone in feeling depressed. I hope to reach out to others with my life story and my struggles. Thank you for the follow!!! Please spread the word of my page!!! Thanks again!!
