Over the 14 seasons of Supernatural, the scope, development and progression of the “monster" has undergone massive transformation. From its original horror movie foundations, Supernatural has grown to tell a deep, impactful story that transcends any monster of the week story arc formula, and so with it have the traditional monsters evolved.

In this article series, we’ll look at some of the main “monsters” (traditional and not-so-traditional), how they’ve changed from their first meet-and-greet within Supernatural, significant lore revelations along the road, their impact on Sam and Dean, and their impact on the series in general.

Monster Mythology Evolution: Djinn

The Djinn are one of the most fascinating creatures that Sam and Dean encounter in the run of Supernatural. Though djinn don’t appear often through the series, when a djinn is the creature feature of the week, the story line promises to be revealing and deeply character driven due to the nature of the djinn’s power and effect.

I feel like the lost potential with Michael and Jack in S14 deserves more discussion...

I was happy about the 300th episode of Supernatural. Fans were celebrating and making all sorts of cool stuff while waiting for the episode. We were having fun; the anticipation was real. We got a nice Entertainment Weekly article with photos. I even made a new poster for the occasion (the banner for part 1), plus I decided to do something fun for the fans while we waited. A week before the episode, I tweeted "TOP 3" lists of different aspects of Supernatural every day until the episode. Little did we know that some sad news was waiting for us on the horizon.

I guess knowing what we know now makes the 300th all the more special. As fate would have it, on 22 of March we heard the bad news about the show ending in season 15. Suddenly my Top 3 lists were fitting for the entire run of the show, to celebrate what it has given me and others. For many, this last hellatus feels like a trip down memory lane.

In total, I created 30 categories in which I challenged fans to chose their favorite aspect of Supernatural. You can find the first nine of those categories, along with my picks and your replies, in Part 1 of my "Supernatural Top 3" series. The following are eleven more categories, with my choices for the best of Supernatural!  I would like to hear your best 3 for each category! You can also see some of the responses I got to the tweets.  Part 3 of this article contain 22 more categories of lists but suggest new categories, too, if you have some!

Once you've made your lists, keep them handy because The WFB has a BIG hiatus list challenge for you in the works!

Welcome to your source for Supernatural fans' projects, for or about the cast and fandom!

What´s still going on? Whats new?
Here are the latest projects organized by the #SPNFamily!

"Sometimes in life, you're not always given a second chance, but if you do, take advantage of it, and go out with a bang! ― Aquaria

This episode had many second chances to their characters. Sam already had one when he was brought back by Lucifer. This time he had decided Lucifer would not be captured but go down one way or the other. The AU people with Bobby and Charlie got their second chance on life when Sam and Dean chose to bring them to their world. Mary also wanted to have a second chance with the people she met in AU world and she wanted to stay to help them. Even Lucifer got a second chance with his son, even though that was a mirage. Unfortunately Gabriel got his second chance to be the good guy but he died because of that. He wanted to help Sam and Dean so he put his life on the line to save them.

Welcome back to the "Top Six Favourite Episodes" series, this time for Season Two. These are still to this day, the nearest and dearest to my heart, my comfort episodes, the ones I go to when I need a laugh or a cry or the comfort of an old friend.

Before you read my list, make your own list of season 2 favorites! It will be fun to compare your unbiased choices to mine (before you are influenced by my memories or picks) .  Whether you're joining Nightsky and The WFB in the #SPNSummer2019 Rewatch, or rewatching at your own pace this hiatus, these episodes should be fresh in your mind!

Save your list then, because you'll need it for a HUGE Hiatus challenge that The WFB will be sharing with you very soon! Nightsky reveals her Top 6 season 2 favorites after mine, so you'll have two WFB staff lists as a comparison (and as a hint of what's to come!)! If you missed my Season 1 Favorites, you can go back to the beginning and start there!

So without further ado, here's my list of Season Two Favourites! The list is by order of appearance only, as they all are equal in their importance to me.

We have so much talent in the Supernatural fandom! Fans draw, edit photos and videos, write fan fics, create costumes or props, make jewelry and much more. It’s time to showcase some of the #SPNFamily’s talent and ask the people behind the creations some questions!

I'd like you to meet HR, the man behind some amazing sculptures. Some of you may know him and some not. I bet all of you will love him and his sculptures after the interview.
