"The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless." ― Jean-Jacques Rousseau

This article is an idea I got while writing "The Fan Video of the Week article" for "The Vessel". For that episode, I featured two videos where Supernatural was combined with trailers for full-length movies and their music. While searching for those videos, I found many videos in which the show Supernatural and its characters were introduced using the music and style of other popular TV shows, mimicing their opening sequence. This type of editing is really popular. The introductions are a real art form themselves.

There were so many great Supernatural introductions set to other shows, I chose several interpretations for each show. I'm also dividing this article series into two parts, each with ten Supernatural videos. In addition to the TV show introductions I found, I am including one of my own. It came out great and my friends loved it so I am sharing it with you.  You can see how great these are and maybe afterwards you will find good videos from shows I missed.

So, here you have them: The Top 10 Supernatural Introductions, styled for different shows, plus few nice extras.

LK's treat for the week

I made one of my own when I couldn't sleep one night and the idea came into my head. It mostly focuses on Baby and one of my favorite series from the past. I loved the opening music and the series even if it was only on for a short time. I'm pretty proud of it if I say it myself. Song "Le Parc" by: Tangerine Dream.

"Street Hawk was a short lived television series that aired back in 1985 on ABC. It lasted only one season and there were only 13 episodes ever made. The show was about a cop name Jessie Mach who was picked to test a top secret government project called Street Hawk. His partner Norman Tuttle, the designer of the motorcycle, was in charge of the project. Jessie would cruise the streets of L.A. on the bike while Norman sat back at command center guiding Jessie. Together they would fight crime on the Streets of Los Angeles."

Star
1. GOLD MEDAL, The Walking Dead Supernatural intro.

I do not watch the show but this opening was so perfect so it got the first prize. I really felt like I had watched The Walking Dead because I did recognize it without knowing the real opening.  Song by: Bear McCreary.

Two stars
2. SILVER MEDAL, Teen Wolf Supernatural intro x5.

I like the first version the most but these five were all so great that I couldn't choose which ones to drop out. So silver medal it is. All of these were really artistic and there is something I really like with the music and imagery. Song by: Dino Meneghin.

3. BRONZE MEDAL, Buffy Supernatural intro.

Number three was easy also. The one who made this has really made an effort to fit to Buffy's intro and music. Buffy also was one of my favorite TV shows when it aired. I actual actually rewatched it from Netflix when that was possible. Song by: Nerf Herder.

4. Angel Supernatural intro x2.

I like these for the same reasons as Buffy. Just marvelous editing and mirroring the original intro. Also one of my favorite shows. They canceled it too early. Song by: Darling Violetta.

Supernatural - Opening (Fan Made | Angel-Style) Nr. 4 made by: Charmedengel

5. Charmed Supernatural intro x2.

Also two of my favorites. I guess most of these fit to the scifi/horror genre. Like with the others, Charmed was also my favorite when I was younger. Song "How Soon Is Now" by Love Spit Love.

How Soon Is Now? by Love Spit Love

I am the son
I am the heir
Of a shyness
That is criminally vulgar
I am the son and heir
Of nothing inparticular

You shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does

I am the son
I am the heir
Of a shyness
That is criminally vulgar
I am the son and heir
Of nothing inparticular

You shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way
I am human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does

There's a club if you'd like to go
You could meet someone who really loves you
So you go and you stand on your own
And you leave on your own
And you go home
And you cry
And you want to die

When you say it's gonna happen now
When exactly do you mean?
See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone
