The episode, titled "The Song Remains the Same" (fka as "Back to the Future II") will air on Thurs., 2/4 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
BACK TO THE 70s - When Anna (guest star Julie McNiven) escapes her captors in Heaven and tries to find Sam (Jared Padalecki) & Dean (Jensen Ackles), Castiel (Misha Collins) is suspicious of her motives. He soon learns that she's gone back in time in a "Terminator-like" plan to stop the Apocalypse by killing the young John & Mary Winchester before the boys are ever born, thus ending the possibility for them to be vessels for Lucifer and Michael. Also guest stars Matt Cohen as John Winchester, Amy Gumenick as Mary Winchester and Matt Ward as Uriel. Steve Boyum directed the episode written by Sera Gamble and Nancy Weiner.

I'm happy to see mom and pop winchester again, but I'm very ,very sure there will be an emotional impact that will haunt us for quite a while. Come on, ten episodes to go, and we're coming to the apocalypse gate, I guess...
Ay me, is it thursday (well, Friday) yet? I've just had a new episode, but I'm greedy.
Glad Sam gets to go this time. Hope he isn't disappointed with his mother. This looks like a lot of sadness for next week.
Yes, Cas, you're almost a real boy. Betcha this episode smokes.
Houses IS a monster of an album, but please, Kripke, don't go Whedon and have a Dancing Days ep with everyone doing the tango and softshoe. Worked there, not sure if it would here. Shudder. 8-)
This episode looks intense!
Yes. How come John doesn't know Dean? Have to wait and see. Looks like a good episode! Love young Mary and John! :|
As for Castiel, him turning more and more weak is a bore to me. I'm not cold-hearted but i seriously preferred the badass, don't mess with me mysterious Castiel who was also learning to understand humans without becoming them version of season 4. *sigh* But it is nice to see Sam warming up to him and he and Dean taking care of him. He is basically their super-powered pet. Now i love that image.
