SUPERNATURAL 11.09 “O Brother Where Art Thou?” (December 9):

Amara (guest star Emily Swallow) unleashes her power on the local townspeople as she issues a shocking challenge. Dean (Jensen Ackles) tries to better understand the hold Amara has on him, while Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) come up with a plan that could have disastrous consequences. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner.

We know who the Darkness is, and before The CW series breaks for its winter hiatus, viewers will know who is sending Sam (Jared Padalecki) his mysterious visions.

One hint - it has nothing to do with John Winchester.

What will Amara do to the townspeople and what is her challenge? Will Dean be able to break Amara's hold on him? Do Sam, Crowley and Rowena try to talk to Lucifer in the Cage? Can't wait! It looks pretty exiting and on some things they are pretty tight lipped. No sneak peek. No Carver preview. I wonder if we will get it though? :) :o

We still might get a Carver preview. They've been coming out the afternoon of the day the episode is shown, so maybe we can add it later. I wish they would release it earlier, but they don't. We haven't even gotten a sneak peek this week and they have released them for the other CW shows. Either they don't want to spoil anything, or we are getting less promotion.

The first thing that stood out to me was one of the Promotional Pictures, in fact, it's the last one.



Dean is dressed just like all the angels. Those three men have angel blades, but I can't imagine that only 3 angels are going to stand up against Amara....unless , of course...they are working for her. lol. And yes we've seen Dean wear a suit plenty of times, but in a stand alone picture like that, it really looks like he's "one of them". I know I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but speculating is fun. It just makes me think that they are showing Dean alongside the angels as if he's a part of them. Makes me think somethings gonna happen with his character and heaven... Like he's gonna say yes to Michael or something something, I dont know.....

Damn, I really wanna know what's going on in that scene now!!! lolololol

Hey E, you were right. The darkness started out in a baby flowered pink sleeper and each dress became a deeper shade of pink, rose maroon and now Amara is in her full fledged, absence of color- BLACK.
