This article is dedicated to the most Memorable Moments of Baby, the '67 Chevy Impala that has been a part of the Winchester family since 1973.
For some back story of Baby I will borrow the words from our Prophet Chuck:"On April 21st, 1967, the one hundred millionth GM vehicle rolled off the line at a plant in Janesville, a blue two-door Caprice. There was a big ceremony, speeches. The Lt. Governor even showed up. Three days later, another car rolled off that same line. No one gave two craps about her, but they should have, because this 1967 Chevrolet Impala would turn out to be the most important car. . .no, object in pretty much the whole universe.

She was first owned by Sal Moriarty, an alcoholic with two ex-wives and three blocked arteries. On weekends he'd drive around, giving bibles to the poor, "gettin' folks ripe for Judgment Day," he said.

Sam and Dean don't know any of this, but if they did, I bet they'd smile.

After Sal died, she ended up at Rainbow Motors Used Car Lot, in Lawrence, where a young Marine bought her on impulse.

That is, after a little advice from a friend. I guess that's where this story begins. And here's where it ends.
The Impala, of course, has all the things other cars have. And a few things they don't. But none of that stuff is important. This is the stuff that's important:

The army man that Sam crammed into the ashtray, it's still stuck there.

The Legos that Dean shoved into the vents, to this day, heat comes on and they can hear them rattle. These are the things that make the car theirs, really theirs.

Even when Dean rebuilt it from the ground up, he made sure all these little things stayed.

'Cause it's the blemishes that make her beautiful'. The Devil doesn't know or care what kind of car the boys drive."

Baby has travelled many miles and has been on many adventures with the Winchesters,
and we have had the privilege to be apart of some of those moments.

She has been there through good times....

and bad times.
She has been by their sides during ....

...their many talks

playing pranks,
having sing a longs,

heated discussions and arguments,

saying 'good bye',

and when some tears were shed.
She has endured many battles wounds.

She has been keyed,

struck by a transport,

tossed by a demon storm,

driven through a sign,

and a house.
She has faced humiliation -

been egged by a vengeful astronaut,

and been pimped up with an IPod adapter.
She's had many visitors,
some most welcomed:

Bobby,

Jo,

Ellen,

Castiel,

Gabriel,

Kevin.
Some of her rides were a little awkward -

A family reunion,

being infused with Sam,

and hosting a demon(Ruby) and angel ( Anna) tag team.
And some of her visitors were not welcome:

Crowley,

angry spirits,

and joy riders.
She has been most of all a home for the brothers.

A Bedroom ....OOOPS... Sorry..slowly backing away with eyes shut.

a bedroom,

a dining room,

a rec room,

a back porch,

and a storage room.
To close off this article I want to share a poem I wrote back in 2009. Alice added this to an article Elle2 submitted on the Impala. Even though my poem is six years old, I feel it still stands strong.
Ode to the Metallicar
Oh! There she is all black and sleek
The shine of her chrome, adds to her mystic.
She takes to the open road with such grace and ease.
Brining all other takers down to their knees.
Her 327 engine roars with delight.
And her beauty is mesmerizing under the moonlight.
She’s a four door hardtop that stands out in the streets.
With her tan interior and black custom seats.
She has a false bottom trunk where the weaponry is concealed.
As we can’t have the authorities having this revealed.
And although she was once douched up with an IPOD adapter.
This matter was resolved and she has put it past her.
She’s been on many adventures with the beloved Winchester brothers.
Fighting supernatural entities for the protection of others.
She has been standing guard while they slept and ate.
Has listened to their laughter, their talks and debates.
She even survived along with them, after a demons wrath.
When he sent out a semi to intercept their path.
And with Love and devotion she was fully restored.
To once again tour the streets that she always adored.
To the brothers she’s been more than just transportation.
She has been their friend, their home and their salvation.
I hope you enjoyed this tribute to Baby. Please share any other moments you want to mention!

Thank you so much for your comments.
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Cheers!
That ending would certainly bring it to full circle. :)
I too hope it ends with the three of them either still hunting or packing it in, as long as they are all alive and happy with their decision.
If they should end this with deaths, then I hope they all parish together, by each others side. as it has never gone well when one survives and the other dies.
Thank you so much for your comments...chee rs!
