Caption This! #418, The End of the World Edition
Happy Caption This Day! It’s time for another contest, and I’ve found an appropriate caption for all the craziness that’s been happening in the world lately.
But first, let’s announce the winner of Caption This! #417. Nate had a great one for April Fools Day, but it must have not fooled a lot of people because the entries were light this week. However, there were two entries that gave me fits in coming up with a winner. After much deliberation and looking at each entry frontwards, backwards and sideways, I decided to just make them both the winners. I’m all about cop outs! So, congrats AlyCat22 and Cheryl42.
Okay, now for this week’s contest. No doubt, the news has been pretty damned rough lately. Loads of turmoil, uncertainty, bat shit craziness, and a general disregard for humanity. When going through our archives recently, I found a missing screen cap from our old photo gallery that was just perfect.
From episode 5.13, “The Song Remains the Same,” it’s Team Freewill, dealing with the pending end of the world the best way they can.
I mean, come on, doesn’t the look on Sam and Dean’s faces say it all? Going for a good strong whiskey has been my first reaction these days! How would you caption this? I have so many ideas it’s bananas. So, don’t hold back. Go light, go dark, go high, go low…anything goes.
