Welcome to uh, “Late Winter Hellatus.” I suppose that’s different than “Winter Hellatus.” Granted two weeks of the Olympics was a great diversion but now we’re back to screaming at repeats. This was a great scene but the one that had me laughing uncontrollably every time I watched it was when Sam and Dean busted into the degenerate Santa’s home and then started singing Silent Night to cover up their error. God, I laughed so hard the first time I saw it I had tears in my eyes!
I think I’m the only person on the planet who actually likes fruitcake 🙂
Mr and Mrs Evil Suburban Gods were great, but it was the serenading of Skanky Santa that had me cackling madly and spilling Stella all over the cat …
I loved this episode for many, many things! The torture scene was oddly hilarious, given the subject matter, but Dean’s adaptation to “fudge” was just straight up funny. The earlier scene with the off-key and mangled “Silent Night” made me, as a singer who knows that Jensen actually can sing, wince hard in the midst of pained laughter.
