Well, it's a common story. A girl, a dream in another town, then she met someone and fell in love...

Nah, it was basically that at the time I got out of graduate school at Wayne State, there were no auto jobs. Something came up in Columbus and then yes, all of the above happened. Hubby, kids, mcmansion in the suburbs, the American Dream I guess. Somewhere in that mess came entertainment blogging and running a large fan site, in between the IT career. Life is full of surprises!

You are most certainly allowed to tease! Considering how I spent my entire Michigan upbringing ripping on the state of Ohio, I guess relocating up here ended up being my just desserts. I still tell people my kids maybe Buckeyes, but I'm a Michigan girl always!

Ann Arbor. I love Ann Arbor. One of my favorite places in Michigan.

Well, as long as theMichiganian (Michigander? Never liked the goose thing myself) is still there, I guess it counts. My hubby is a transplant from Toronto and I've told him since we met that it ALWAYS comes back to Michigan. And I'm right! Even Sam couldn't avoid the Michigan connection.

I hear you about jobs etc. I'm lucky - I came back after college and grad school and found a job where I grew up. Not in the auto industry so I'm lucky in that way. I'm no longer a Wolverine but I am anti Ohio State, but I think they put something in the water in the AA public schools to ensure that.

But I don't mind buckeyes as much as I used to. Maybe cause I keep meeting nice people.

Perhaps, in honor of Mr. Kripke, we should consider Toledo for a get together? Even Sandusky (cedar pointe? Kalipari? Yes, I have a 7 and 8 year old). It would be my first SPN fandom effort, so I'm willing to travel.

Season 4 is good one. 5/6 you can use fast forward alot but then you miss seeing all the facial reactions and some shirtless scenes so enjoy. season 7 is uneven but needed to understand the beginning of this season. Bobby thread is worth it. Last few episodes this season are some of the better of the entire series. Keep in touch. We can set something up for a meet in late spring. Inspired to watch a rerun episode now. Going to bed/ Sweet dreams.

Hi Debbab, hope you don't mind but I am going to go into my cheer-leading mode for season 6 - honestly it mostly suffers from this idea that the show SHOULD have finished with Season 5! etc. After all the heavy duty bleakness of 4 and 5 it is much more light and fun (relatively speaking, this is SPN after all), and yes, there's shirtless stuff (and hugs!)

It also doesn't follow the trend of 'lets stretch the storyline over the entire season so people don't know what's happening until Ep 20' (sound familiar?) and personally I liked the shorter story arcs that got wrapped up mid-season.

What I am saying to flyernerd is, go into the season with an open mind

Lol! My SIL is pretty hooked, but doesn't quite have my devotion (aka additction). Everyone else just lovingly tolerates me. I have some "drama" (for lack of a detailed explanation) that has happened in my life so people just want me to be happy. Apparently SPN is my happy place.

She helped me out when Comcast moved the CW channel (as I discovered around 9.05 Wednesday night) 300 channels to the right (which took until 9.30 to discover). Yay for twitter and SPN fans

Apparently the girl at the desk at Comcast was also an SPN fan.
