You know, I'm usually not a fan of celebrity news. It's their lives, their business. But I found this news intriguing, especially since they'll be in Chicago this weekend. Also, I'm sure this is the very last fandom outlet to report this (stupid not being able to check email at work), but here goes!

Jensen Ackles Engaged To Danneel Harris
Jensen Ackles and his longtime girlfriend Danneel Harris are engaged, her rep confirms exclusively to JustJared.com.
The 31-year-old Supernatural actor and 30-year-old One Tree Hill actress have been dating for about three years but have been friends for nearly a decade. The couple, who are longtime members of the WB/CW family, co-starred in the 2007 romantic 
Danneel showed off her beautiful engagement ring on Saturday at the Breeders’ Cup in Los Angeles.
Congrats to the happy couple!
UPDATE: Danneel confirmed the good news herself on her Twitter account. Simply put, she wrote, “Yes… !”

if this is the last fandom outlet to report Danneel’s and Jensen’s engagement, then I am the last fan to hear about it, as I very rarely read celebrity news. Hate that stuff for personal reasons…
I hope they’ll continue to manage to stay out of the gossip spotlight and live their private lives happily, containing all the ingredients they deem necessary…

I'm really happy for Jensen and Danneel and wish them the all the best.
Part of why I like Jared and Jensen so much is that they are very private and don't do the red carpet thing so much. They just seem like two "normal" guys just doing their "thing" and not really doing it just to be famous. *hearts them*
Wish them all the happiness in the world tho.
*Sigh*
It's Dean getting married that would leave me heartbroken.
In a world where divorce is now commonplace, I really hope it works out for them. The statistics are not in their favour, sadly, especially considering their profession.
So here's to Jensen and Danneel, to a successful marriage. **clinky clinky**
