Here's A Gift From Jared - A Deleted Scene!

I orginally thought this might be in tomorrow night's episode, but people who got the episode preview are reporting this is a deleted scene.  Too bad, because it's hilarious.  

Jared Padalecki (@jarpad) tweeted this to everyone with a link to download the clip.  The file has since been removed from the original link, but I managed to download it and have it here on our server to share.  It's also out on Youtube too.  It's from the Supernatural cutting room.  This is a special gift from director Phil Sgriccia.  Sam is on a health kick!  No spoiler alert here since you won't be seeing it.  Well maybe, if you don't want to see the motel room.  But that's it.  Enjoy!

OMG, thank you! I was on Jared's tweet page and couldn't open the file. It was getting me nuts. I wonder how many treasures get lost on the cut room. They should put ALL those on dvd! :lol:

See, they NEED an hour and a half each week for this show! Sam's stretches and Dean's "freaky accidents" search? Oh, my... I loved it. I'm gonna go watch it again now.

Okay, much as that made me laugh...I'm kind of glad they deleted it. That level of physical comedy, outside of one of their humor episodes, felt a little over the top. No offense to the boys, it just felt like the writers were trying too hard to lighten up a serious moment. And I get that Sam is sweet and over-achieving and a bit awkward and I love all of that about him, but this just felt like him trying too hard and it was a bit odd to watch. But as a cut moment, it made me smile. I'm just glad it's not in the ep itself .

I didn't see Jared's tweet, but I think he totally ad libbed that (no writers involved here) to see if he could get Jensen to crack. It reminds me of the season 2 gag reel, where Jensen asks the bar tender for 2 Pinot Grigios. The bar tender keeps it up, but Jared starts laughing.

That... that was all shades of awesome. It definitely felt like gag reel sort of stuff, though. Like they has some script, and then they just kept going.

You can play it here. Just hit the play button on the player up top. I did get the video before that link disappeared. I just disabled autoplay on the player so not to annoy people. But yes, it's on Youtube too!

And the purple shirt of angst has returned. That shirt has lasted 7 years now. I guess it never got any bullet or stab holes in it. I get anxious when I see that shirt! :-?

Sylvie - I entered "Supernatural deleted scene" and had to forward 1 or 2 pages, but I found it.

Just type in "supernatural deleted scene Jarpad" and it should pop up right at the top.

Oh thank you so much! I laughed so hard, I wish they would have kept that in the episode, but I'm sure it'll be on the DVD. Nice to see that new Sam keeps up the physical form like Soulless Sam did.
