Supernatural Fans Outside The US - I Need Your Help!

For all of you that live outside the United States (and our statistics show that's about 50 percent of you), I need your help! I'm currently researching an article investigating Supernatural's standing in the current foreign markets. Finding out where it is airing now is proving to be impossible! This is the kind of information I'm looking for:
1. What channel is it airing in your country?
2. What season? (please indicate the season coming up if on hiatus)
3. If applicable, what other channels has it aired?
4. Are any repeats (seasons 1 - 6) airing on any channels in your country?
For example, I'll cover the United States:
1. The CW
2. Season seven
3. The now defunct WB, season one
4. Yes, TNT. Airing for two hours Monday - Friday, 10 am - 11 am
Just answer what you can if you don't know. Any info helps! I thank you for your support.

3. A little hard to explain but Supernatural has always aired on the Israeli YES satellite provider since 2006 but it has been marketed on a different channel almost every season each with YES SOMETHING in the title. I think but I can't be sure that S1 and S2 aired on YesSTARS, then S3 was on Yes Stars 2, S4 aired on Yes Stars Action, while S5 aired on Yes Next and most recently S6 aired on Yes SCI FI.
4. Yes, there have been Supernatural repeats of older seasons still on the Yes satellite provider but on a different channel most recently Yes Action. Although at the moment, there are no repeats of any Supernatural season.
I also wanted to add that most likely (at least I'm hoping for it) S7 will air in Israel early 2012. This has varied from season to season with some starting in January and others only starting in July-August. Usually the episodes air week after week unless there is a holiday or some other event which pushes an episode back a week. Plus there is always episode reruns that air on the weekend during the broadcast of the season.

Not that I know of. However, there have been repeats in the past.

3. ITV2 until S4, briefly on Virgin which then got sold and became Channel One for S5. On TalkTalk (and possibly other packages) there is a demand channel called The Warner Bros Channel that has shown S3, S4, S5 and I expect S6 will show up in rotation come December 2011. They're on there between 6 weeks - 3 months and its free to watch them assuming you've bought the channel.
4. If you count The Warner Bros Channel then yes there are. Otherwise no, before it went bankrupt Channel One was repeating SPN from the beginning and got to the end of S2 before it closed.

Fun fact: Net5 had a target group consisting of mostly females (airing chickflick movies, dating shows and Grey's Anatomy for instance), and they are also known for broadcasting mystery/fantasy shows, such as Fringe, Lost, Charmed, Ghost Whisperer and Medium.
Sadly, they air the episode at 23:20, a really bad time slot :( So I guess the ratings aren't that high.

I think just on this one.

Not that I know of. You also can't wach the episodes back on the website of the channel. Most people I know who watch Supernatural watch it by streaming online (so they are up to date with America) or viewing from the DVD.

1. It airs in one of the public (free) stations called RTP2 on Tuesday nights and on cable AXN on Monday nights (it works here)and I just found out that it will pass to the new channel AXN Black, usually they have it at the same time with one of two epis back or forward.
2. Season 5, it starts Sunday October 16 at 21:30H on the new channel AXN Black (and yes it's a good day and time for us here). The other channel will air season 5 too probably still this year or the beginning of next year like usual.

To great dissatisfaction of the hungarian fans, new episodes of SPN aren’t currently airing here on any channels. Season 3 finale was the last episode aired on Rtl Klub this summer.

Viasat3 has repeated season 1 and 2 originally aired on Rtl Klub.

Double episodes of season 2 are airing on Viasat6 on Tuesdays between 22 p.m. and midnight.

From INDIA:
1-Channel it brodcast: AXN (With some lag from usual timing)
2-Season 6 started pretty late on the channel -i guess May and ended june. Comes Mon-Fri @ 23:00. I did not see any ad for season 7 yet on the channel.
3-I dont know if CW broadcast here or SPN broadcast on any other channel. WB comes here but mostly Movies and some old series come on it: Nikita, Friends and other old series repeat on it. never saw SPN on it.
4-And no previous season is currently on air on AXN. But AXN sometimes do show some of the previous season episodes randomly in no particular order. Recently in August saw S5 episode airing on it @23:00 but not regular repeat broadcast.

It's airing late on Friday nights here, and it receives no promotional efforts whatsoever. It's not a very well-known show in Sweden.
It had no promoting then either, used to air very late in the middle of the week.

I'm from Southern Ontario too - it used to air on Canoe TV and/or City TV at one point didn't it? It's bounced around. I was surprised by the move to CHCH when I was home in April last year and set the VHS to record only to get some news program :(
I agree that Space is the only channel we have the airs it right. They have the better promos too!
Yes, I remember now that you have told me, ha! It was presented much better on City and Sun. Was so disappointed in CHCH's presentation.
I have a friend who has the Shaw satellite connection and he can get the show on quite a number of stations at the same time as CW.
I don't want to spend more money to get just one station (CW) so I watch it on crappy CHCH and also on Space. I tape them on Space so it keeps me going until the dvds come out in the late summer.
Reading some of these posts I am eternally grateful to be getting it currently as it is.
I miss watching it on TV - over here at school in the UK, no TV for me - so I watch it online. Thank goodness for the Internet!

not sure but I think there are some re- runs very late at night
First airing on October 23, 2006 on Pay-TV channel Sky (back then it was named Premiere). They will start airing season 6 in January 2012.
First airing of season one on free-TV channel Pro Sieben was on October 15, 2007 till March 31, 2008. Second season from October 6, 2008 till December 22,2008. Third season from March 1, 2010 till June 21, 2010. Season four from August 16, 2010 till March 21, 2011. Season five started on September 5, 2011. (The air times show that occasionally they showed two eps on one day.) Airing on free-TV has to wait till the airing on pay-TV is done with a season. In between the seasons we got sometimes repeats of previous season and unfortunatly they are out of order. The show here is doubted. A little fun fact: the German voice for Dean is the same one as for Beavis and Sam's voice is the same one as the one for the cartoon Anakin Skywalker.
Wiki also gives the following for Austria: First season aired there from April 22, 2009 till January 26, 2010 on free-TV ORF 1. Second season from February 2, 2010 till July 13, 2010. (That's all that Wiki states but don't fear for the Austrians since most of them if not all are able to watch German TV. Same accounts for Switzerland. I wasn't able to get facts from there but in case Switz TV isn't airing it they can watch it either on the German station or the French or the Italien one. And they are watching since I met some at the con in Germany this year.
Will try to find ratings but never saw anything like that for Germany.
Even the third season of Supernatural stayed above the average cut of the TV-station Pro Sieben and entertained 1.66 Million viewers including 12,8 percent of the young viewers.
In comparison to those numbers for you the winner during the same time slot had 5,79 Million viewers which is 20,6 percent of all viewers. (It was a real-TV show - something that showed a restaurant tester in a restaurant that didn't do so well and how he helped them to get more customers) Those numbers are taken from a site called Quotenmeter http://www.quotenmeter.de/cms/?p1=n&p2=40652&p3= Hopefully I will be able to check next week for new numbers.
Yesterday Paris Hilton got killed for the first time on German free-TV.

Actually, there was a moment when Warner Channel decided not to put the new season on November and put it the following year (they do that sometimes with some series) and we fans sent emails and that kind of stuf and Warner Channel had to put it back!! They actually made a promo that said something like, "Because you asked for it...". We don't have a lot of advertisment, but fans always watch Supernatural, although most of us, we watch it online so...hope it works for you! :)

As far as I know Malaysia SPN fans are either watching it online or download the show. This is bcoz the local TV here are crappy & when the show bcomes a bit 'different' (religious wise) they either skip episodes or stop the show. It's really stupid actually. Then they blame viewers not being loyal or blame downloaders. But we DON'T HAVE A CHOICE to enjoy our show.

Here in British Columbia it airs on Chek TV (a Victoria station) and CW-KSTW on Friday at 9pm. Both channels are available in the basic cable package, I believe. They will run repeats of all past seasons during the short breaks but over the summer hellatus the show can be bumped.
If you pay for extra channels, then you can get Space. They run the current episode the Wednesday following the CW original airing and they show it at 7pm and again at 10:30pm. They always run past season repeats during the breaks and are very consistent. Our beloved show never gets bumped as far as I can tell.

1. It airs on the state channel HTV 1 which everybody gets. Right now it's on hiatus with no information about when or if it will continue airing.

3. They aired seasons 1 & 2 in one piece with no hiatus in between, in 2005/2006 I think. Season 3 aired last year after a three/four-year-hiatus. Air time is very late in the night (like 1 am), it was moved several times between days, last air time was Friday/Saturday night. SPN gets no promotion, no reviews, no reports, no nothing, hence no ratings info is available. I truly feel like a member of an underground cult series.

Here now are not going on any channel. until a few months spent in the 6th season the CW, but now not taking place in any side or the 6th season or earlier.
They announced that the 7th season starts in 2012 on the CW: (((

Dubai One actually is repeating S4 before airing S5. No news about that though, but that's the way it goes.
I'm from Brazil and sometimes I watched it on WB, nowaday, I only watch it online, for me it's better, but I haven't heard anything about the 7th season here yet...

That's a lot of channels to keep track of in Canada, isn't it? As I suspected, different channels air it in different regions. It's a big country (and a bilingual one, so it also airs in French on Ztélé.)

Metro 14 just started airing Supernatural on Friday nights at 9 p.m., starting yesterday. It is carried on Videotron in Quebec, Rogers in Ontario, and across Canada on Bell TV.
(What's really great is that it doesn't paste on superannoying bottom-of-the-screen promos like the CW. I am so happy we can now watch it when it comes out on Fridays on a different channel than the CW!)

Double episodes of season 2 are airing on Viasat6 on Tuesdays between 22 p.m. and midnight.

- Viasat6 also repeats these double episodes on Thursdays between approx. 01:50 a. m. and 03:30 a.m.
- RTL Klub started airing Season 3 again on Tuesdays from 12 a.m. till 1 a.m.
