Duck Pond Update!

As expected, when the call to action went out, Supernatural fans delivered! Remember a week ago this sorry situation?

Oh, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. On top of what's been sent, many fans are packing their ducks and pictures of ducks and duck related items to take to this weekend's Salute to Supernatural in Vancouver. A lot of duck pictures have been shared by Clif Kosterman at his twitter page, @bodyguard4jandj. The "Duck Nation" photo gallery can be found here on Winchester Bros:

This is such a sweet, ridiculous matter! Ha! Soon our heroes will be able to plunge into a huge pool of sweet little ducks! And - of course - I'd be expecting a picture of that, too!

I'm thinking Scrooge McDuck in his money pool... wouldn't that be hilarious?

Has anybody here actually sent a duck? If so, did you decorate the duck yourself or did you send it as you bought it?

I can't find any decent duck! All the ducks I found are lameass ones with big smiley faces not badass ducks that would make a grown man cry. I tried decorating one but it was terrible.

Seriously, where would the best place to get a proper duck? Novelty shop, toy shops, baby stores?

At this stage I'd nearly hard boil a duck egg, stick a beak on it and send it over labelled 'Baby Duck'.

Ebay has some great ones.

I made little books for mine, and called them "Writer's Ducks." It took some doing, but oh so worth it.

Tim, I bought mine on line at Amazon: A "Croatoan" Zombie Devil Duckie. I wrote Croatoan across its chest, and I gave it a back story of catching the Croatoan virus from some zombies at San Diego Comic Con. It amused me!

I'm taking mine with me to VanCon. One is Jensen as Priestly from Ten Inch Hero, one is Jared as young Thomas Kincade from the Christmas movie, and I also have the giant teddy bear plus a teddy bear doctor (had to do it since I'm a vet) from "Wishful Thinking".

sorry so late to the game! RL has been beating me up a bit! But I'm in Washington State now and heading up to Canada tomorrow for my first ever Supernatural Convention. I will make sure to pick up some ducks on the way!
