Once again, it was another consistent demo performance for Supernatural.  If anything, women 18-34, the coveted CW demo, was much higher than the last few weeks.  The total number of viewers went up above 2 million again, and Supernatural even out performed Smallville.  After seeing Smallville's episode (they aired that throw away episode two weeks before the finale?) I get why that happened.  It's possible by the time the buzz got to the other parts of the country for airing, Supernatural got a boost.

Anyway, here are the final ratings (courtesy of TV By The Numbers):

Smallville (96% coverage CW normally 95%)
- 1.987 million viewers
- 1.2/2 HH
- 0.8/3 A18-49
- 0.8/4 A18-34
- 0.8/3 W18-34

Supernatural
- 2.010 million viewers
- 1.3/2 HH
- 0.9/3 A18-49
- 0.9/3 A18-34
- 1.1/4 W18-34

I've been searching, but some CW shows have been getting 96% coverage lately.  If anyone has heard why, please share!

Wow! It's awesome that the rating is above 2 millions again and if I'm not wrong Supernatural is preempted in some area, right?

Yeah, it was preempted in my area of Pennsylvania. I live in the Philadelphia viewing area, and every friday night that the Phillies (baseball team) play a home game, Smallville and Supernatural get bumped. I had to wait til 11:30pm to watch. Which would be no big deal except I have to be at work Saturday mornings at 7am! Oh well, lack of sleep can't keep me from our boys! It does cut down on my options of who I can call at 12:30am and holler "What the Hell is going on with Cas and Crowley" at. LOL

I'm in Canada but the crappy station that normally airs SPN cuts to commerical in mid sentence, audio video out of sync of pixels all over the screen (Crowley I need you :D but this week was preempted for a special Royal Wedding special SOOO I can get The CW station without the Canadian channel cutting it. Over 2 million views is awesome.BTW I watch Smallville - not a great episode

I don't understand what you mean when you say "some CW shows have been getting 96% coverage lately".

Can you please explain that to me, Alice?

Thanks!

Love,
Robin
