I love this video! All three guys are so humble, gracious and funny. I do love how Jensen credited his mother voting a million times for him, and Misha saying that one day he'd like to compete with the humans, but he's happy right now. Enjoy this snippet of the Supernatural moments (thanks Nueva74), and remember this issue hits the news stands Thursday April 14th. TV Guide has been such a great friend to Supernatural this year, so buy plenty!

I'm so happy they won and they deserve it so much. Even if I want to hug Jared a little bit more. I'm sad he didn't won something especially for him.

I'm really glad SPN knocked out 3 awards. Wish we could've reaped a few more trophies but can't be too greedy, I suppose. And I hope Jared wins something in the near future.

and I have no problem with Jensen or Misha . winning . But the simple truth is Jared will not win these fan favourite awards or polls because he isnt voted for because people cant see past Jensen and see how exactly good Jared has been esp the last couple of seasons. It is just the way it is and I have accepted that .
Anyways, it is Jared who was nominated at the Teen Choice Award for Best Actor, not Jensen, so Jared isn't always being overlooked.

I AGREE with Cassie. For me, I imagined either J or Sam or Dean as being the only lead in the show and it fell flat. SPN is nothing w/o J2 and the brothers.
Both the 2 brothers are the mirror of one another. Without the nuanced acting of Jared, you'd never get enough emotions and instead, being emotional would be cheap and overdone. On the other hand, Dean was Sam's character foil for the earlier seasons until the tables turned. And both of them bring a certain standard of chemistry to this series. I can't imagine this show without either.
You often hear of co-stars who can't get along on the set and that sometimes impacts the chemistry or even limits the creative direction of the series. I mean: what can you do if the lead star decides to throw a tantrum and threatens to quit, if the storyline doesn't go the way they want it to? Like they want a bigger focus of an arc? At least, this show doesn't have any of those problems.
And btw, I'm glad they're great friends and that we don't get some silly talkshow saga about Jared vs Jensen where they try to make one another look bad or stupid. I even heard their friendship helps keep them humble when their diva moments kick in.
Let's be glad they're faithful to their wives, they don't do drugs or spend their time making fun of fans.
I agree that both actors and characters are fantastic, and that they both deserve credit (Misha as well, though he isn't my focus here). But I feel so bad for Jared, because he never gets the credit he deserves, simply because people obsess so much over Jensen. They BOTH do a fantastic job. And I'm sure that Jensen hates that his fans are so mean to Jared, who he seems to regard as a brother. He probably doesn't want fans who are so mean to his best friend.
Ummm, also, Jared is listed first because it's ALPHABETICAL. Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Mischa Collins. See that? It's called the alphabet.
Jensen and Jared won "favourite characters" on "Space" TV channel poll.
There is no Supernatural without Jared.
Anyway, I'm grateful the show is being noticed a lot more now in the media.
The fandom votes for Jared just fine -- for example in the Alpha Male poll at E!Online - Jared took out all comers from other fandoms until he ran up against Jensen. And then it was about a 45-55 split in Jensen's favor.
These guys deserve it, and I am so proud of them to win these awards. Now it's time that the Emmy staff thinks about actually putting this show into their drama category. If True Blood can be there (and I'm a fan of that, too), why not Supernatural? Come on.
