Updated: Supernatural Season 6 Is A Wrap!

Yesterday shooting for Supernatural season six officially wrapped. The cast and crew are now on their three month break, not due to return until the early part of July. More than likely. In somewhat of an anomaly that hasn't happened since season two, the next season isn't officially confirmed. Sure, everyone is extremely optimistic (unlike season two when they were on the brink of cancellation), but for right now, finishing season six is the main focus.
The CW upfronts are scheduled to happen May 19th. The search for a CW president has slowed to a crawl and now a replacement may not be named in time for upfronts. If that ends up being the case, renewal announcements won't likely go out until May 19th or a day or two before.
Fret not though, for chances of Supernatural season 7 look extremely good. In the meantime, enjoy this photo! Everyone is gathered around the Impala. There's a lot of beauty in that room!

I'm trying not to think what would happen if The CW doesn't renew our show, because then this pic would be the last on set picture of the last episode ever, and that is just a really depressing thing to think
But that's not gonna happen, right?
But if - I'll be happy to provide group therapy sessions...
Thanks for this behind-the-scene picture. I'm hoping for a seventh season. For now, nothing else looks like an option.

Regarding Season 7.. It's snowing heavily today where I live (I mean really heavily. Like needing to shovel soon due to serious accumulation). Because it looks more like January, than April, I'm going to pretend that's the case. Why? Because due to my convoluted logic, it'll be mid-February in about 6 weeks (that's around May 19 for those of you who live in the Real World!) And the CW will be giving SUPERNATURAL an early renewal announcement at that time, so there won't be anything to worry about! (not that there is anyway, but still... a girl frets now and then.)
Anyone who wants to join me in my delusion is completely welcome. Feel free to think it's spring too!
And yes, I love that everyone's crowded around the Impala. It just wouldn't be the same without her :)
Okay, Sammy just got his soul back (sending Death a fruit basket), and now we are awaiting his waking up.
